Group
A group is a number of people who work together [ CITATION Hit21 \l 1033 ]. They have
individual goals that they work towards collectively. While groups work toward specific goals,
they have a related interest or an identity that unites them. While groups work toward specific
goals, they have a related interest or an identity that unites them. Groups can be formal or
informal. Formal groups are created to achieve specific organizational goals. Informal groups are
based more on the agreement and personal relationships of group members than on defined role
relationships.
Team
A team is a number of people who work together to accomplish a shared purpose or goal
[ CITATION Tea211 \l 1033 ]. Teams work together to solve problems, create new products,
and other functions such as aligning passions and purpose. There are a few different types of
teams, including problem-solving team, self-managed work team, cross-functional team and
virtual team.
Our type of group was tight-knit, friendly and cohesive. Our team shared the same vision and
goals. Individuals who contributed all of their information, likes, and attributes helped shape us,
and we benefited from close group communication. When we worked as a team, the team
members were quite motivated and completed our assignments on time.
Team development model
Forming - Our team is comprised of seven members from the same class, but this is the first
time we are working as a team. First of all, based on our leadership style, we chose a leader who
can manage the team and understand how to make strategic decisions for the team. After the
selection of a leader, he assigned and drew up a schedule to all the members for group work. It is
difficult for a leader to assign responsibility to each team member and manage the team. Specific
elements of teamwork are also completed by team members on time.
