Q1. 'A certain level of conflict at Wilson Bros was fine, but managers often told me that they
often stopped short in fear of losing their jobs.' This respective statement is very much
agreeable from the organization’s point of view. In an organization, Conflict holds an
important place and should be accepted with open arms. There has to be understanding with
the fact that one should do his best in order to derive the best out of the conflict. In this
manner, it could be made out that there stay advantages to be gained by engaging in conflict.
In an organization, conflict is said to be a negative situation, but it should be viewed with
broad outlook (Runde & Flanagan, 2010).
It is not always that conflict brings trouble to the organization’s working and
functioning. In the coming part, there goes elaboration of the points as to how conflict could
be beneficial for the company as well:
The Conflict could bring forth engagement at the part of the employees by helping
them raise their voice at the meeting regarding any point that could turn up beneficial
or detrimental
Helping employees to remain focused on allocated tasks
Raising employee’s morale (Arthur, 2019).
Help management and the employees share a great bonding
Give the opportunity to the workers to take part in giving creative ideas
In all conflict can also be positive for the organization, all that requires is to change the
mindset. This seems to be very much necessary allowing management and the employees
take their relationship to the next level and to feel comfortable with each other (Thielen,
2019).
Q2 'We are changing at an incredibly rapid pace. It is impossible to keep up. It would be
really nice if the guys with the ideas realized that we are the ones that actually have to
