Executive Summary
This report discusses about the concept of organizational change in the light of the
organizational change that the company Fast Courier intends to undertake. The concerned
organization has indentified that for the improvement of the services that it offers to the
customers it needs to use the GPS, PDA systems. In addition to this, the use of one driver
policy and automatic lift gates would also help the concerned organization in a significant
manner. They would not only reduce the work of the drivers but at the same time the
concerned company can use the spare drivers for the new trucks that it is acquiring. However,
there are various factors like salary disputes, effective training and others that the concerned
organization needs to take into effective consideration for the process of the integration of
these changes within the organization. In addition to these, the effective use of the consulting
model can at the same time help the concerned organization in a significant manner.
Furthermore, to improve its performance the concerned organization can use various tactics
like raising the salary of the drivers, providing incentives and perks to them, undertaking
structural changes, consultation with the unions, enhancing the engagement level of the
employees and others.
