INTRODUCTION
Organisational Development it is the study which states the successful organizational
change and performance which occurs within the enterprise. The structure of the organization
influence the behaviour of the worker and motivates them to work in the positive attitude to
accomplish the goal of the organization.
SONY is the multinational company which had its headquarter in Konan, Minato and
Tokyo.. People In Aid is the non-profit organization having headquarter in the UK, Australia and
South Africa. Report includes the key features of the organization along with the implementation
of business model and organizational policies within the organization. The report ends with the
analysation of activities and goals conduct by the organization which influence the environment
by considering the ethical practices in the business.

Global International Organisation :
Sony – Sony is the leading firm that had headquarter in Konan, and many other places. Company
was established in 7 May 1946. It is the leading manufacture for the professional and the
consumer market of electronic products. Sony provides financial, electronics etc. services to
wide range of consumers (Foster, 2016). It works well in music entertainment across the world.
It is also the largest company for video game publishing. The current slogan of the company is “
Be Moved”..
A Non-Profit within the United Kingdom :
People In Aid – People In Aid is an international organization of not-for-profit membership
which had its offices in Australia, UK and East Africa(Henderson and Boje, 2015). It was
established by agencies in the development sector in 1995. Organization has grown form a small
membership organization
to the global resource for NGOs. People In Aid does not exist as the company had merged with
the HAP International on 9 June 2015 to form the CHS Alliance. organization has agenda to
raise effectiveness of organization in the development and humanitarian sector within the world
by supporting, advocating and acknowledge good practices for management of the
people(Anderson, 2016). The organization has implemented this vision by using the People In
Aid Code which include the seven principles of effective people management.
Government department which is the part of the UK Public Sector :

Birmingham City Council – It is body which is governed by England’s government, since 1974
it was the metropolitan district. It had its reorganization of boundaries in 2004, in which 120
councillors for Birmingham City in 40 different wards which represents one million
people(Lewis, Boston and Peterson, 2017). They all local services, excluding the joint board are
run by the council. There are provisions of certain services which are developed for several
councils constituencies, in which each of the provision have a consistency committee formed by
the councillors from the district.

Sony is the largest corporation by revenue In the Japan. It earns the revenue of ¥6.493
trillion in 2012. Furthermore, cash reserves of the firm is 895 billion as per the record of 2012.
Brand value of the company is $12,353 m and its brand rating is AA in 2013. The Biggest
competitors of the company are Panasonic, Philips, Microsoft, Nintendo, Apple and Canon. Sony
targets the adults, teenage and families in their market segment. Pricing of their products varies
according to the type of the product. Sony performs its business activities globally(Sanders,
2016). The company's psycho graphics says that they want quality product and thus they are
continuously improving. Products offered by Sony are Laptops, PlayStations, TVs, Camera,
Mobile Phone, Films, Portable PlayStations etc. the logo of the company itself describes the
characteristics of the company that is “Sony.make.believe” it indicates the imaginative view that
is discovered by individual. The key characteristics which are associated with brand are-

From the starting of its operation, Sony has been committed across its all business to
provide high-quality products, customer-oriented and services. This philosophy was formulated
in the 1946 by the co-founder of the company, Masaru Ibuka which is being drafted in the
Founding Prospectus(Aarons and et.al, 2015). The Sony Group Code of Conduct regulates that
Sony is continuously making efforts to comply or exceed the legally mandatory standards in all

its business activities for ensuring the safety of their products and services. The company has
also established a Pledge of Quality which specifies the basic policy of the brand for their
products and customer service quality. They ensure the customer's view points which help them
to deliver the quality products and customer service at their level best(Flamholtz, and Brzezinski,
2016).
People In Aid
People In Aid mainly focuses on the quality of people management in the development
and relief sector. organization works to improve organization’s effeciency worldwide by
supporting and recognizing the best practice for the management of the people.
To improve quality, accountability and effectiveness in NGOs at both national and
international level the code of conduct is issued by the company. These practices reflect that the
staff helps to deliver the effective programmes and response to the needs of million people
globally. With the specific framework helps the to analyse what is need to be concern abut while
enhancing the quality of human resource management(Brunning, 2018). People In Aid has
implemented their vision through the use of the People In Aid Code which include seven
principles for the effective management of peoples. The principles are as follows -

Birmingham City Council
It is government body of Engalnd, They regulate the demographics, census, economic
research & council of the city, environmental information and property services. They maintain
the record of the economic statistics and access measure to overcome if any deficiency
occurs(Weston, Ferris and Finkelstein, 2017). Avails through the census data of the company or
any issue occurs within the city.
The 120 council has been divided into the 42 wards so that they can easily monitor all
these activities within the city effectively each ward councils records, maintains and monitors all
demographics, economic research etc., This is very effective business plan which helps the
council to monitor and access through all business activities and effectively maintain the peace in

the city. And with the coordination and cooperation with each other could easily solve the
problems which occurred in the city(Namada, 2018).
Analysis of the goals and activities in organization with respect to environmental influence
purpose and ethos -
Nowadays organizations are mainly focusing on the ethical business practice which are
included in the operational and functional activities. They are developing the product and
production process which are favourable to the environment. There focus is on developing the
sustainable product's ans services which have a positive impact on the environment along with
attracts consumers directly and satisfy the needs of the consumers. Sony has developed the
standards for ethical business practices worldwide. Sony's approach is “getting closer to the
people” and their purpose is to “fill the world with emotions, through power of creativity and
technology.” The company's core responsibility of to society to conduct the corporate value
enhancement with the help of innovation, contributing to developing a sustainable society and
sound business practices. People In Aid in accessing the improved quality, accountability and
effectiveness in NGOs at both national and international. The organization uses ethical practices
and supports the sustainable environmental practices conduct its all business activities. They take
in code of good practice under consideration and the second quality mark and improvement
among the people management practices. They assure the reliable management and information
system with the help of external social audit. Birmingham City Council conduct its activities
with the help of ethical practices. They create awareness among the environment within the
citizen of the city and had issued the ethical and environmental instruction that should be
followed by the individuals. They monitor whether the construction and manufacturing activities
are not harming environment. And promotes the green and clean city by issuing some guidances
and instructions this helps the councillor to maintain the sustainability and ethos among the
city(Carnevale, 2018).

Study summarises as organizational development play a vital role in the analysation of
the activities performed by the companies during the operational and functional activities. The
ethical activities within the organization helps the company to develop the sustainable products
and services which attracts the customers along with the positive impact on the environmental

factors. The effective and appropriate implementation of the business model help the company to
attain the goal of the business effectively and ethically.
