1ORGANIZATIONAL LEADERSHIP In the due course of our life, we meet a lot of people who tend to affect us in a number of ways. These people help in the shaping up of our lives with the demonstration of the several qualities that have been present in them as well as depicted by them in their real life. The following paper attempts a discussion on the servant leadership traits that were demonstrated by one of my high-school teachers. The servant leadership style refers to the leadership style wherein the major goal of the leader of the organization is to serve the employees as well as the clients of the organization. The main aim of the leader abiding by this style of leadership is the thriving of the business organization in the given market. A servant leader is known to prioritize the employees of the organization and help them in the development of their performance contribution towards the developmentoftheorganizationindiscussion.Theservantleadershipmightalsobe implemented within the discussion of the leadership roles that are demonstrated by the teachers and the other such influential people whom we do meet in our everyday lives. One such person in my life is one of my teachers whom I had met in my high school. She was my teacher of English and took classes for the study of compositional skills. She was my teacher and had been compassionate towards her students as well. She was my confidante and advisor whom I could approach at any given point of time with any issue that had been troubling me at that point. She was often observed to stay back after school hours and help the students with the issues that they have been facing in the given subject. My teacher had always been approachable and shared a very cordial relationship with all her students. The students were often known to have been attracted to the positive attitude that she depicted towards the learning process. She always encouraged all her students to perform well in the academic fields and tended to encourage the students to put in their hard work in
2ORGANIZATIONAL LEADERSHIP order to achieve the success in the given field. This helps in the increase of the psychological capital of the students who have been taking lessons from her. This encouragement on the part of the teacher helped me as well as my peers in the development of the qualities of listening to the other person who has been communicating with us. This would help in the proper resolution of the issue that is faced by the person concerned. My teacher also helped me to develop the awareness towards the problem that is being discussed. This quality will help me in the development of my skills that are necessary to help the concerned person in the resolution of the issues that are presented by the concerned person. The skills of being aware of the issues presented by the person and the listening to their issues would help me in my future days while serving the concerned organization.
