Justify how one key theory, framework or concept is relevant in health promotion practice for the
community
Health promotion is referring as the process which help to enable the people to enhance their
control over health. It is also helpful to improve their health. This is also focus on the individual
behaviour towards the wide range of social and environmental strategies and intervention which
is based on health promotion. In this, selected health promotion is Ottawa charter, that show that
the there are five key action areas which in the health promotion which used to build healthy
policy, create supportive environment for the health (Fleming et. al., 2020). In this, they also
strengthen the community action for the health. It also helps to formulate some skill which is
based on personal and professional level. With contrast to health promotion, the Ottawa charter
provide an outlook of promoting healthy behaviour among the people who require social and
psychosocial aspect. Moreover, the re-oriented health services and with this, there is three basic
health promotion strategies is included enable, mediate and advocate (Iriarte‐Roteta et. al., 2021).
The fundamental condition and their resource for the health consider peace, income,
sustainable resource, social justice and equity.
 Advocate is good health for the social, economic and personal development that play
important role in the creation of quality of life. In this, the political, social, cultural and
environmental and the biological factor which can develop favour for the health or
injurious to it. In this, the health promotion action is usually making these condition
which is based on advocacy of health.
 Enable state that the health promotion focusses on the achieving equity. Whereas, the
main aim of health promotion action is to minimise the difference in health status and
provide equal resource to people in order to achieve the health potential.

et. al., 2017).
