Overcoming Barriers to Effective Communication in International Education

This brochure discusses the barriers to effective communication in international education, including language, cultural, and time differences. It also provides strategies to overcome these barriers, such as being genuine and empathetic, eliminating differences in perception, and creating events to foster a comfortable environment. Time difference: for certain
students it was very hard to
speak to family and friends due
to the time differences among
nations. As the different
lack of common experience:
scholars found they do not
have much similar with
native students. They had
different tastes in food,
clothes, music and
preferences also found it
complex to understand the
temper.
Academic practices:
scholars faced challenged to
analysis the lessons in a
foreign language. They feel
their marks were offering due
to it was complex for them to
communicate in a second
language.
Language barriers:
Students faces a difficulty in
understanding the language
of different country this
causes an extreme cause of
ineffective communication.
Cultural barriers: Academe
were unsure about cultural
protocol and social convections
and had constant
misunderstanding. Just as in
respect to greeting levels of
causality, eye contact, driving
queuing and basic daily.

Creating an events - for making a
comfortable environment for new
students who are from different
country university can organise a
cultural fest and events so that they
can feel happy and familiar.
Offer Good facilities – the
university can provide a great
service just an online library
and quality food in mess and
many other that make them
feel comfortable.
Eliminating differences in
perception -the university
must ensure that they are
giving good facility by
considering the needs and
wants of every student, using
simple and clear language
should be synopsised. Use of
ambiguous words and jargons
