Employment contract for the position of network designer and analyst
a. Terms of the contract
Definition of Employee: Working professional hired for a particular position
Definition of Employer: Official authority providing job offer
b. Terms of the employment
Duration: contractual. 1 to 3 years
Remuneration: $10,000. Incentives are provided based on performance
Working hours: 8 hours (10 to 7 pm)
c. Conditions and duration of probation period
In probation period, IT security analyst will be provided corporate training and it will be of 3
months. During this probation period, employees will be assessed based on their performance
on assignments provided to them.
If employees are not able to perform according to the set standard of the company, they will
not be retained in the training after the probation period.
d. the terms and conditions that may result in breach of the contract
Following terms might result in breach of contract:
 If employees are terminated before probation period without proper reason
 Set standard for employee assessment are not provided during training
 Performance assessment standard changed without notice to employees

 Identify security issues in the client network
 Provide in-depth solution for resolving security issues
 Provide assistance to the clients for designing and developing new network
infrastructure

 Probationary periods
 Additional costs for hiring an employee, training, insurance and superannuation.

Things employee is entitled to
According to the legislation, employers have to provide the following things to the
employees:
 Annual leave
 Personal and carer’s leave
 Leave after Long service
 Maximum weekly hours should be less than 50 hours
 Notice for termination has to be sent in advance along with redundancy pay

Some extra points that need to be included in the contract are:

If employees need to work in over shift, it should be important to know what payment
structure are for that
Contract termination:
Are employees are retained for 1 to 3 years or they will be terminated earlier. Will their
contract be renewed based on performance, which are some of important details that need to
include in the contract

c. If you were given the same offer, how would you accept or reject the offer
As this contract has some issues, I will not accept this contract.
