Introduction
My name is Pamoda Hansini Wickramasekara, I am currently enrolled in the Bachelor of
Business, at Victoria University, my major subject is Logistic and Supply Chain Management,
and the minor subject is Human Resource Management. Also, I am enrolled in studying other
diplomas. I am inspired to work in the field of logistics and supply chain management. My
dream goal is to excel and take pride in my future professional career. I tried to broaden my
horizon by gaining experience in practice. I am currently as a purchasing assistant in the
packaging supply store at Mingpak Aust Pvt. Ltd., Australia. Also, I got experience in many
other jobs. My personality skills enable me to effectively communicate with people, act as a
team player and problem solver. I love volunteering work and I am highly interested in
Childhood and Care.
Employment
Currently, I work in Mingpak Aust Pvt. Ltd., Australia. I am involved in stock control activities,
dealing with the internal customers, signing off invoices and supervising the shop floor on
weekends and receiving payments. I could successfully meet the branch target. In the retail
sector, there are major competitive priorities, including cost efficiency, customer responsiveness
and perfect order deliveries. Customer satisfaction is very important, which implies that products
and services should be delivered according to the customer needs with the right quality, quantity
at the right time and place.
In addition, I worked as a production worker in Fontelle Australia. I was responsible for locating
the finished goods in the correct warehouse location and preparing products for shipment.
Moreover, I had the chance to practice additional duties at the ODEL warehouse in Sri Lanka.

Finally, I worked as an IT assistant at Team Lanka Holdings (PVT) Ltd. and at Moama bowling
club.
Personal:
Punctual and Hard worker could be used to describe my personality. I am highly interested in
working with groups of people, I am a team player and a problem solver. I can solve difficult
problems and never give up. My communication skills enable me to deal effectively with
different types of people and customers as well. Supervising others fulfills my leadership skills
as a responsible person that people can depend on.
I am a self-motivated person who is able to see the bigger picture and create a vision. I have the
attitude of success that always makes me expect to win and can cope with failure.
Academic
I was born in Srilanka where I completed my school life there in 2011. Then, I got the Bachelor
of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Sri Jayawardenepura, Sri Lanka. I am
currently undertaking the Bachelor of Business (Major - Logistic and Supply Chain
Management, and Minor -Human Resource Management) and a Diploma of Business
(Enterprise) at Victoria University. In addition, I am enrolled in a Diploma of Early Childhood
and care at Chisholm Institute.
I am certified in information technology, internet and computing core certification, human
resource advancement and the use of hygienic practices for food safety SITXFSA 101. Also, I
got an advanced diploma in English and a spoken English certificate.

I am a member of the International Student Association (ISA) at Victoria University. I love
volunteering work that reflects my positive attitude towards others, I can effectively
communicate with individuals from diverse cultures. Being a responsible, reliable and
friendly enabled me to get involved in different projects at Victoria University.

Career plan
I am highly motivated to work in the field of logistics and supply chain management. The job
market prefers the graduates of a specific degree in supply chain management, which represents
the motive of choosing this field of specialization. I need to develop my skills to be able to meet
the challenges of the job market. I plan to gain knowledge in data analysis, modeling, problem-
solving, forecasting and simulation. Also, negotiation skills will be extremely useful for me, for
example, thinking under pressure and respond effectively to the new situations that occur in a
considered way.
The field of logistics and supply chain is complex, it should be clearly recognized. That is why I
need to build my capabilities in this subject. Also, I have to be able to communicate the technical
aspects with non-technical customers and colleagues in a clear way. Moreover, I have to gain
knowledge about the internet shopping and realize the advance of e-retailing. It is a long way
that requires me to be always committed to continuing professional development.
In barrel with my undergraduate studies in logistics and supply chain, I am also enrolled in a
diploma of business in which I specialized in 'enterprise'. It is supposed to complement with my
bachelor major field of specialization.
In addition, I am interested in the learning about early childhood and care, which encouraged me
to get a diploma in this field from Chisholm Institute.
