Introduction:
The organization named as “ABC timber” uses the concept of RFID for solving their business
issues. The potential risks associated with the management of the stock available. The
company is looking forward to adopt RFID management system for managing the available
stock within the premises of the firm. The use of Radio frequency identification in the
working structure of the business curriculum focuses on changing the trends in the business
operational efficiency. The development of the business intelligence framework can be
effectively maintained with the use of RFID in the organization working environment (Sen,
2009). It plays a vital role in the identification of availability of the stock, components, and
supply chain of the products. The radio waves are used for reading the devices for
communication. The microchips and antenna are used for effectively carrying out
communication between participating units (Curtin, 2005).
Problem Statement:
The organization is facing the problem in the management of the stock. The overstocking and
under stocking is the major concern area for the business owner. They are looking forward
for the technology which can improve the management of stock availability and helps in
reducing the risks associated with the shelf life of the stock.
Justification
The use of RFID system by the ABC timber organization helps in improving the management
of their available stock. The justification for inclusion of RFID in the business operational
units is that it helps in reading the tags at a distance from the components. In this paper we
are looking forward for the RFID system which is capable of managing the supply chain
management system of the enterprise. The productivity of the organization can be checked by
the analysis of the information delivered from the different tags. The unique identification of
the codes helps in tracking the availability of the products in the organization (Veihland,
2007). The technology of RFID helps in preventing the mismanagement of the stock
availability, security of the stock by analysing the risks associated with it, and by controlling
the quality of the stock.

RFID system overview:
The RFID system helps in managing the automation in the supply chain management system
of the enterprise by the identification of the location of the data storage (Kaur, 2011). The
following is the proposed architecture for the inclusion of RFID in the working efficiency of
the business.
The microchips installed at the store helps in gathering details of the payments and the stock
information. The supply chain of the raw material is effectively maintained by the use of this
new system in the traditional working of the enterprise.
Components of the RFID system:
The strategic and the tactical challenges of the supply chain system can be effectively
resolved Customer relationship management program: The maintenance of the customer
relationship can be developed by the management of agreements to provide quality service to
them. The value can be added to the supply chain management program with the effective
utilization of the RFID components. The RFID is attached with the following terminology:
Integration of the business processes

Benefits of the RFID system:
The RFID technology is useful for the management of demand of the raw material associated
with the development of the finished goods. The human error in estimating the stock can be
reduced to an high extent. The quality of the product can be managed at much lower price.
The strategies should be developed for developing the product on time. The reading of the
tags helps in providing information about the order to be managed. The flow of material is
efficient in handling the processing time of the product. The supply chain operation can be
efficiently maintained with the inclusion of electronic security marker in the working
curriculum of the enterprise. The organization purchased the raw material after reading the
availability of the stock to minimize the risks of wastage of stock.
Drawbacks of the RFID system:
The RFID system increases the complexity of the working system with its implementation.
The integrity and interdependence of the process is the major issue with the RFID system.
The security is the major concern for the wireless transmission of the data (Jechlitschek,
2012). The cost associated with the RFID implementation raises the budget of the enterprise.

Impact of Implementation
The deployment of the RFID system helps in motivating the working employees to develop a
team work for efficiently carrying out the business operation (Bhuiyan, 2013). The
technological dimensions of the enterprise have to be changed according to the requirement
of the RFID system. The new hardware and software technologies are required for clearing
the data routing procedures. The human error in estimating the stock can be reduced to a high
extent. The use of RFID system enhances the strategic and tactical decision making capability
of the manager by providing proactively relevant information (Herschel, 2010). The
performance of the human resources can be enhanced with the inclusion of the automatic
system in the working curriculum of the enterprise. The continuous improvement plan can be
upgraded with the effective communication management with the gathering of relevant data.
Conclusion:
From the research, we have analysed that the implementation of the RFID system in the
working process of the business plays a vital role in the identification of availability of the
stock, components, and supply chain of the products. The flow of material is efficient in
handling the processing time of the product. The value can be added to the supply chain
management program with the effective utilization of the RFID components.
