INTRODUCTION
A study shows that the parents who are involve in the curriculum activities of the children tend
to have higher self esteemed children as compared to the children who have the non participating
parents (Dorouka and et. al., 2020). This project portfolio covers methods to engage parents in
learning system.
MAIN BODY
The foremost right includes the right of participation of the parents at the school so that they can
help their children in various activities and functions, thereby leading to communicate with the
teachers so that the children are given the guidance for managing they work and many other
commitments. Right to participation can be used by the parents by getting involved in the
activities of children such as in drawing or painting so that a home like feel can be given to the
children in their early childhood.
Another right given to the family as well as parents of the children regarding the contribution in
the curriculum of the early childhood is to provide pick and drop services to the children wherein
the parents will drop as well as pick their children from schools so that an engagement is made
between them and parents can come in communication with teachers so that healthy curriculum
is provided to them (Nxumalo, 2019).
The parents as well as family members must also get engaged in the homework of the children
that is given to them from the early childhood studies so that they can become responsible for
their studies and the parents can guide them at every step in order to ensure the positive
curriculum or education to the children.
Another way off parents to contribute in the curriculum of the children is 2 make a parent school
partnership so that learning are provided to the children by way of participation of parents so that
self esteem is developed in them. Hence it can be said that the parents as well as the family
