This article review discusses the nursing perception of risk in common nursing practice situations. It analyzes the perceptions of nurses regarding different risks associated with common nursing practices and the impact on patient care. The study uses a qualitative research methodology and identifies key themes related to nursing limitations, risks, and motivation. The findings suggest the need for a hybrid nursing decision-making model that incorporates perception, analysis, intuition, investigation, reasoning, and judgment. Recommendations include following strict clinical guidelines for managing peripheral intravenous catheters and reducing the perception of risk through knowledge sharing and coherent nursing actions.
