INTRODUCTION
Self awareness is referred consists of being aware about various factors of self including
traits, belief, feelings and behaviours. It is a psychological state in which individual becomes
focus of attention. While other awareness is referred as an interpersonal awareness that teaches
individuals that why and how to understand other individuals. It is a interpersonal awareness
ODF communication. With this individual will be able to learn and improve their
interpersonal awareness skills and learn about difference skill which makes lives. Whereas
context awareness is referred as a ability of a system element to collect information about its
surrounding at given timescale and hardware to automatically gather and analyse data to guide
responses. This report is based on reflective journal of an individual. This report includes self
awareness, other awareness, context awareness along with its conclusion.
MAIN BODY
Self awareness
With this reflective report I am able to understand concept of self awareness which
includes awareness and analysis of experience of own personality. With that I have analysed and
evaluated by me that It is essential as well as important to perform self awareness and self
analysis so that individual's strengths and weaknesses in terms of required skills could be
performed. As being a nurse for having placement in a hospital it is important for me to have
self analysis of myself as it helps me in determining my strengths and weaknesses towards my
health profession. As being a nurse and for performing self analysis firstly I need to ensure
that I should have all minimum qualification which is required and necessary for carrying a
health and welfare professional. As I have carrying my studies in health profession sector I have
knowledge and understanding about how to carry health profession well. As this profession will
provide me guidance and enhance my career in health and welfare sector by serving people.
Along with that there was an incident which has been happened with me was one of patient in
ward was in severe pain due to medicines and injections and As these skills will help in
providing various amounts of enhancement of my professional career. For that Driscoll model
could be applied. What is happened: I was told to handle him but being in pain patient was getting
angry and shouting. I was unable to understand his situation and handle him smartly.

With that I am able to determine that I need improve my skills in handling patients
so that my skills could be managed well in terms of self awareness. Observation: I observed that there are various sorts of patients which are difficult to be
handled. And for that Driscoll model could be used for having self awareness which is
as follows: Actions taken: For this I have evaluated that it is important for me to analyse and
determine behaviour of patients so that as a result I will be able handle patients
effectively. Reaction given: As when this incident was happened in hospital all other patients were
got disturbed and with that I was feeling very em brassed as I was not able to handle to
handle patient well. How others react: As when this incident was carried other patients got disturbed.
 Important element in incident: That incident was very important to me as with that
profession it help me in building my career strong and live last long. For performing
health analysis I should ensure that I should have health quality. It should be ensured by
that I should have quality of providing essential and important services which promote
health, protect diseases and deliver health care services in various individuals, families
and communities which is based on providing primary health care approach to various
people.
Self analysis is very important activity which is required to be fulfilled by every
individual in order to analyse potentials of ourselves. In my case as being a nurse it is
important for me to carry my self analysis which provides me help in determining direction of
my career that which option field is best suited for me to build my career. By carrying self
analysis it provides me help in identifying my career which is nurse and this analysis helps me
analysing my potentials for any work effectively.
Other awareness
This section of reflective journal carries various knowledgable values. With this I am
able to understand concept of other awareness in nurse field. With this I am able to identify
that others awareness is all about interpersonal awareness that helps me understanding level of
thinking and actions of other individuals.I have analysed that it becomes easy for me top carry
my profession well along with learning new skills and knowledge. As we all know that every

individual is different and carry their own behaviours and beliefs and handle them well
according to them so that there will fell relax and their satisfaction could be increased with
high level and for having that it is necessary as well as important for me to carry other
awareness analysis by which I will be able to handle them well. Other awareness analysis helps
me in identifying behaviour patterns of others and it will be helpful for me to carry my health
profession well. Along with that carrying other awareness is important which could be explained
with Driscoll model which is as follows: What is happened: As when this incident was carried in hospital. I evaluated that other
individuals as well as my senior got disturbed as I was about told to handle patient who
was suffering from pain but because of patient's less co operation I was unable to deal
with patient well and effectively. Observation: With this I have observed that it is important for every individual to carry
other awareness as it provides helps in analysing behaviours , beliefs and action of other
individuals. It is important for me to carry other awareness analysis so as being a nurse
it helps me in analysing various behaviours, beliefs and actions of others individuals. As
being a nurse it is important for me to analyse others individuals 's behaviours at helps in
carrying my profession easily as it helps me in having understanding for behaviours of
various people and how they could be handled well by me. Actions taken: After this incident I have analysed and evaluated from this reflection
journal that it is important and essential for an individual to perform other analysis as it
helps me in learning skills which is required to carry and understand interpersonal skills
which is required to understand various awareness skills and in learning difference as
well as creating a new vision for others. Reaction given: As when this incident was happened I felt like I need to have knowledge
about various strategies which are used to enhanced my potential to analyse other
individuals. How others react: With this incident I analyse that it is important for me determine
various behaviours of other in order to handle them well and effectively.
 Important element in incident: From this incident other awareness analysis is
performed it helps me enhancing my career well by performing my skills at my
workplace. This analysis also helps me in building my own strengths and enhance

myself and enhance my professional development. Health is difficult to carry
effectively so it is important for me to perform self analysis and along with that perform
other awareness analysis which helps me in providing and analysing of self as well as
potentials and needs of others also. So that I could enhance myself as a better person in
personal as well as professional development.
Context awareness
With this section of reflective journal I am able to understand about concept of context
awareness. I am able to understand as performing of self awareness and other awareness is
essential for analysing strengths and potentials of self as well as others s important. With that it
is also important to perform context awareness and about it I am able to understand that context
awareness is all about ability and potential of s system element which is require to gather data
and information about various surroundings at a given point of time. I have analysed that
context awareness is an important element which is required to carried effectively to build and
enhance knowledge about every feature and topics deeply. As being an nurse it is important for
me to have context awareness. As being an nurse it helps me in having knowledge about various
topics and elements. It has been analysed and evaluated by me that carrying a health profession
is not an easy things it mostly requires deep knowledge and skills to perform their roles as well
as profession effectively. And for that for that it is important for me to acquire knowledge and
skills about health profession so that responsibilities will be carried effectively with individuals.
As context awareness helps me in collecting and using various data and information in a
worthy manner which could lead to serve various people and could enhance my professional
career as well. Health profession is required to have excess knowledge and skills which is
required by me to carry my work responsibilities effectively and efficiently. By carrying self
awareness analysis and other awareness and along with that it is important for me to enhance
my skills and knowledge so that It will help me in enhancing and building my career well.
CONCLUSION
From above reflective journal report it has been concluded that self awareness is based
on based on assessing individual strengths and weakness of individual which states in assessing
self according to various skills and knowledge. This reflective journal carried brief explanation
of analysing self as well as others awareness. This reflection report also carries explanation of

context awareness which is required for building and performing various roles and duties
effectively in order to have high performance in businesses.
