·INTRODUCTION
In the further discussion we will focus on the peer review process of a teacher's online
class, my point of view as a reviewer as well as a reviewee is dicussed down through the
presentation of the Gibb's reflective model.
·MAIN BODY
·GIBB'S REFLECTIVE CYCLE
Description
The online session after digitalisation of the education system gets tough at times, but by the
way he presented things it did'nt feel like it was tough for him, ofcourse in the beginning things did
sound a little nervous but that much is acceptable (Jana., 2019). He started with the best and most
suitable way by giving examples of clinical cases. Just by listening to the starting points of
discussion I got so interested in the lecture, and then his voice clarity and confidence improvised
slowly, which worked as the cherry on the cake. He did not entertain questions during the class, this
has a negative effect, as the students tend to forget the questions and some times the head pointers
they wanted to discuss about after the class, also it helps in making the class more interactive and
interesting for the students. There was no use of sense of humour, he was more precise about the
topics and examples rather than cracking a little joke in between. The content he used was well
researched and up to date.
My online session started with the discussion about some interesting and understandable
clinical examples, the students were very welcoming which made the lecture more interesting and
understandable for them. I tried to give them my best examples and made the lecture as interesting
as possible but still they thought that the sense of humour was missing. I held the questions and
answers or queries asking part atthe end of the lecture, to make the online session less chaotic for
me as well as the students. Because of the activities and fun interactions it was easy for me to settle
with the students.
Feelings
I was very impressed by the way the online session started, I would not be able to usually
focus in a boring online session. The use of pictures through the powerpoint presentation really
made things easy and understandable. One thing which I did'nt appreciate much was he did not
allow students to ask questions between the class. It was also a little tough for me to understand the
picture and description in the same slide, it was actually a little overwhelming (Larssen. And et.al.,
2018). One more thing that made me less inclined in the class was no use of sense of humour, it is
one of the most important aspect to keep students engaged. The whole lecture helped me gain a lot
of knowledge and interest about the topics the lecture touched upon. If I would get a chance to
attend his lecture next time I would for sure be interested in doing so, to explore his way of
teaching more.
As a newcomer in the sector of virtual lectures I was extermely nervous about how the
lecture would go, and the reactions of the students about me and my teaching skills. But after the
feedback I got from the students I feel more confident about my skills (Afrianto., 2018). I really
appreciate the students being acceptable about the way I teach through my power point
presentations, and I would be glad to bring changes in my presentation style, by presenting the
picture and descriptions in different slides. In regards of the sense of humour I would like to keep it
slow and not make it a priority. The class was very interactive according to me, as many of the
activities were held during the lecture also when it was virtually held and every one was remotely
attending. This made my confidence and enthusiasm increase. Also pointing out on the sense of

humour has reduced the confidence level which I had during the lecture today. As I feel I probably
was not able to keep the class as entertained and involved as I should have (Ansari. and et.al.,
2021).
Evaluation
I would definately attend his lecture if held in the future. I would also love to explore his
teaching techniques and abilities as today's online session was pretty clear and understandable
according to my perspective. I would like to notice the positive and good aspects of the lecture like,
clarity of vice, confidence in speaking, more attention to the topics and to the detailings and giving
the best examples related to the topic and extra knowledge regarding the topic too.
My teaching procedures include dealing with more and more examples and also mainly
focuses on develooping interest regarding the topics among students. I aslo try my best to get to
know the students on a personal level so that they feel more confident and open duriong the online
sessions too. As due to the sessions being online the social interaction among students has been
hindered the most whihc makes it difficult for them to open up and feel confident, but I try to
implement the most interactive approach in teaching as I can so that they don't lack in these areas.
Also, I will in future explore new and better areas of teaching according to the student
requirements, the procedures of teching will slowly improve as the online sessions will keep on
going. My main objective or motive is to provide the students an excellent quality of education,
which will support and enhance their personal as well as professional lives in the present and in the
future.
·Action plan
·In regards to the future, I will always deliver my best to the students and try to be as appreciative,
clear and understandable as possible (Dumont. and Raggo., 2018). But there are obviously some
things that I would prefer not to change in my teaching techniques, because that make my teaching
skills unique and help the students that want to learn and explore my raw skills categorize. This
does not mean I am going to be rigid regarding my teaching habits, I respect the priorities of the
students too, and I will always try to deliver the most appropriate, understandable and easy content
or study material to the students. I also want to be more interactive, expressive and open to the
students so that they can be comfortable during my lectures and not hesitate if they have any issue
or problem in understanding the topics.
· Also I will try and ask all the students if they have any problems after completion of every
topic during the lecture so that they do not have to wait or remember the questions till the end of
the lecture so that they are more clear about the topic and more focused during the other topics too.
Also in regards of the sense of humour, I will try and implement little things that are funny to the
students slowly as I get more and more comfortable with them, but the topic of sense of humour
will not be something I will precisely want to focus on at this point of time.
· I will try and deliver the best reults as I can for the students. This will increase their trust
and reliability towards me. This will also lead us towards a common goal that either of us are
willing to reach that is delivering the best results. As we achieve our common goals we will be able
to achieve our personal and professional goals too. All of this has enhanced my motivation and I am
ready to give my best in every future session held.
·CONCLUSION
· The above discussion precisely puts shade on the reviewing of teaching skills of a teacher,
by the peer review process. Then it also describes the feelings of the teacher on the peer review
process, and the impact the process has on the teaching skills of the teacher overall.
