Introduction
Within a business organisation employees motivation and team
effectiveness is essential for gaining the competitive advantages in the
market along with the high success and growth of company. In this
scenario, discuss about the concept of motivation and effective team
along with the theories of both which may help in building effective
team and with which employees are motivated to work efficiently.

Motivation: It is closely related to the
word motive that means needs and
desires of individual's. Motivation is
considered as a process of challenging
the people of organisation to take
actions for the purpose of achieving
company's goals and objectives.

Maslow's Need Hierarchy theory
This type of theory was
propounded by the American
psychologist that named
Abraham Maslow as he
aforesaid that there is a
hierarchy of needs which
consisting mainly five levels
from lover to upper level.

requirements of a person such as water, air, food,
shelter, clothing etc. that can be facilitate by the
Johnson of Whixley to their employees with
basic pay so as the basic needs of all individual's

Team effectiveness

will help in increasing quality,
productivity, working efficiency

Belbin theory

for reacting on a particular

person who have ability to shape their businesses and take to the next
stage by guiding and supporting workers. Also, the company should
make sure that the individual whom they are selecting is able to
properly shape their business towards effective growth and success.

Findings on motivation and team effectiveness
It has been found from the implementation of theories of motivation
and team development that both may help in increasing the
efficiency and performance of employees that will directly lead
towards the organisation success. It should be needed for the
manager of Johnson of Whixley to influence individual's behaviour
related to tasks for the purpose of achieving targets within the
