INTRODUCTION
People management refers to the way of hiring, recruiting, retaining the talent in the firm in
accordance to increase the skill and talent of the workers and to better their performance as well
as productivity. People management is usually a subdivision of the human resource division
which is obliged for giving rewards, hiring, compensation, training and development and several
more practices. The following report is based on the company Easy Jet that is low cost airline.
The firm was founded on 18th may 1988 having their headquarters of the firm was situated in
Meyrin, Switzerland (Chaudhary, and et.al., 2021). This report will cover about information on
leadership, management, training and development as well as talent management for the
respective organisation. Moreover to it, it will also include the skills, behaviour and knowledge
that are needed by the firm in accordance to increase the productivity and performance of the
organisation.
TASK
Leadership and Management
To become a effective effective leader it is very important for an individual to influence
and motivate a person or group members in order to achieve the set objectives in a very effective
manner. The process of management may be defined as planning, organizing, controlling and
defining all the activities of the business in a very smooth manner. With the help of effective
leadership and management an organisation can effectively achieve all the objectives. It is very
important for a leader to select a appropriate leadership style because a leadership style directly
the performance of the management within the company. The leaders of the organisation are
responsible for dictating the culture of the organisation. Different types of leaders are present in
the world which have different types of skill and knowledge and along with this different types
of leadership styles has been followed by them. Te information related to the Lewin leadership
style has been discussed below :-
Lewin leadership style :-
This style was introduced by the Kurt Lewin in 1939. The Lewin leadership style
basically consist of three styles which name as Autocratic, democratic, and delegation styles. All
