INTRODUCTION
People Performance Management (PPM) is the approach of managing people in the
organization through which the company can met the outcomes and achieve their potential.
Managing the people in an organization is not about controlling people whereas this is the
approach of developing the skills and competencies of employees through which they can
perform up to their best abilities and meet the expectations of employees. Performance
management is the approach that support managers in monitoring and evaluating employee work
and performance (Bradley, 2019). Performance management is the approach of maintaining
employee performance through which organizational efficiency can be enhanced and this also
help companies in meeting their targets and generating higher revenues. This helps in creating a
work environment that leads to high quality work and also enhances the efficiency of
organization. This report will outline the job description and person specification. The project
will reflect a job advertisement through which the company will be promoting their vacant job
position. The study will be defining recruitment strategy and staff development plan that will be
followed by the travel company.

Job description
Job description (JD) is a written blueprint which describes the general task which needs
to be performed by candidates through which they can meet the organizational targets. Job
description is the approach of outlining the roles, responsibilities and duties that need to be met
by the candidate for selected job profile. The major components that are involved in a job
description are- job title, purpose, duties, roles, responsibilities, required qualifications and work
experience and outlines the working conditions that will be offered to the selected candidate
(Kayikci and et.al, 2020). The purpose of job description is to outline essential job functions,
skills, knowledge and abilities which will lead to performance of employees within the
organisation.
