This assignment delves into the historical development of the travel and tourism industry. It examines various periods, starting from nomadic travelers and their pursuit of food and shelter, to the emergence of pilgrimage tourism in 1500 BC. In the early age, cultural aspects, learning languages and travelling challenges restricted (Capacci, Scorcu and Vici, 2015). In 14 century

tourism industry(Cave and Brown 2012).

Historical developments of travel and tourism industry
Evolvement of Travel and Tourism sector has been there since ages and it always kept on growing by having
growth in the industry of transportation.
Period of 1830-1840: In this period most of
the tourist prefer to visit Queen's Bazaar
which is situated in the Oxford Street.
Tourist visit there to experience The Royal
Clarence Vase, created for King George IV
in the year 1820.
Period of 1880-1910: In this period many people wanted to experience diverse cultures and exhibitions that were at the places
like Crystal Palace which is in south London and Earls Court which is in West London. There visitors can experience different
kinds of product at different stalls.
Period of 1920-1940: In this period, Buckingham palace is being
visited by visitors where they experience changing of the guard, that
took place daily. Many other places where tourists generally visit were
the Barrister's temple and wig shop, dog cemetery in Hyde Park and
the sheep which was there in Green Park, which reminds of the
country side.
Period of 1870-80: In this period
skating was the new attraction for
London's visitors. In winters,
many customers get attracted to
the sites that offer ice-skating.
