INTRODUCTION
Personal as well as professional development describes self enhancement and improves
living standard of person by maintaining their personality. Fundamentally, it is a wide aspect as,
entire attribute of an individual is depend on personal advancement. Instead of this, professional
development is related to increase in performance quality of job with assistance of knowledge
and capabilities. Along with this, person can easily know about their shortcomings and strengths.
Royal garden hotel is a five star lodge, which is situated in United Kingdom. They are proving
their services to their clients in across the world. Being a sales executive, it is essential for me to
determine own skills and competencies (Moon, 2013). Additionally, develop some opportunities,
thus person can meet their current and future needs. Manager of company can formulate an
effective personal and professional development plan. If there is any issues at workplace then it
has to be resolve immediately. Employer can develop some strategies, therefore they can
accomplish their work within specific time span.

Currently, I am working as a sales executive in Royal Garden Hotel. To do work in an
effective way, it is must for me to know about my own skills and competencies.
