INTRODUCTION
This report is based on raising funds for engaging football players. This is done by
Wimbledon in Sporting History (WISH) as it will help the players to perform better. Football
plays an important role in UK. But due to COVID 19 pandemic the players were unable to
practice (Martínez-López, and et.al., 2020). There are various problems that are faced due to lock
down. There is discussion related to steps that are taken to identify the problems. As it is group
activity there are various problems that come in path. As the task was to raise funds it is not easy
to raise funds. There are various steps that helped me and my team to work effectively. Help of
various literature review is taken into consideration to accomplish the project goals effectively.
In the end of the report there is conclusion and reflection based on the problems faced and the
solution for the same.
MAIN BODY
It is a group project and there are various problems that come in path while working in a
team. Football plays an important role but the players were unable to practice due to lack of
funds (Holroyd, 2019). If the problem is identified it is important to find ways that help to find
the solution of the problem. The steps that are taken to address the problem of client.
Steps taken to address the problem
Identify the issues: The first and foremost step is to identify the problem. As the it is essential to
first know about the issue. That can be done by conducting research. It is important to find the
reason of the problem (Perry, Izenstark, and Larson, 2021). Our team started a meeting to
understand the problems that is faced by the client. As it is important to first emphasise what is
faced by the client. In this case the I along with my team discussed the problem that is faced by
them.
Clarify the Problem: It is the next step under which the problem is clarified. In the above stage
the issue is being identified. So in this stage it is examined that is the problem really important to
solve. Are there resources available related to the problem (Vallone, and et.al., 2020). So by
discussing the problem with the client we came gain clarity of the problem that is being faced by
the client. As it is vital to get finances so that the client is able to get proper training related to
football. As they want to perform good at international level. So it is important to arrange finance
for them.

Define the Goals: Now it is time to set the objectives for the solving the problem. In this step the
future that we want to achieve is set in the form of goals. It is vital that the set goals are
achievable. Our team discussed and then formulated goals that will help us to solve the problem
that is faced by the client. The benefits of achieving the goals. Also it is identified the time in
which the problem can be addressed.
Identify Root Cause of the Problem: To find solution of the problem it is vital for everyone to
know about the cause of the problem. By knowing about the problem our team was able to
complete the report effectively (Rao, 2017). As the roots will help to solve the problem that is
faced by the client and the ways in which that it can be solved.
Develop Action Plan: Action plan includes the actions that will help to find solution of the
problem. As under this step the the actions that are required by an individual to solve the
problem. An action plan includes the action that we in team take to find the solution to the
problem that is faced by the client. Action plan is helpful as it is set o0f actions that are required
to find ways to solve the problem. In group it is more beneficial to form the action plan. As view
point of various individuals are thee. That help them to find solution to the problems that are
faced.
Execute Action Plan: As the action plan is formulated the next important step is to execute the
same. All the actions that we have decided above and now implemented. All the time lines and
resources are decided. Here the task is to follow the actions. Here the work is divided and we all
work on the actions that were formulated. It is important to know the actions are completed on
time.
Evaluate the Results: In the above steps the issue was identified and the root cause was also
identified. The actions that are required to achieve the goals and solve the problems and also
planned. The action plan is being executed the next step is identify and evaluate the result. As if
we are working over a plan it is important to monitor if the goals and targets that are set and
achieved or not (Artioli, and et.al., 2019). The results that were planned for future are getting
fulfilled or not. And if there are problems associated and deviation in actual results and the
planned. It is then important to find the reason for the same. I monitored the performance of all
the team members and find that we were lacking at some areas. Then we analysed the reason for
the same as it will help us to improve the same.

Continuously Improve: Last but not the least step in addressing the problem is that of
improvement. In the above step the gaps are identified and the reason for the same. It is now
important to improve the areas that have problems. Improvement should be a continuous process
as by only filling the gaps the team will be able to accomplish the desired goals that are set. The
issue that is faced can only be solved by continuous improvement in the area.
There are the steps that help to identify the problem and then find solutions for it. As it is
a group project efforts of all the team members helped to complete the task and accomplish the
goals in a manner that helped to solve the problem. Every one worked together with proper
cooperation and overcome all the challenges that came in path while solving the problem of the
client.
Critical Review of the Literature
As per the point of view of Alanzi, and et.al., 2020, The pandemic has caused various
problems in the life of all the individuals. It is seen that it has also impacted football players. As
the lock down occurred in all the areas. The players were unable to practice. It is important that
the players do practice. To play well the key task is practice. It helps them to then perform
effectively. Due this COVID 19 every thing has stopped. The players were unable to practice and
that has impacted the performance in an adverse way. So to get back everything and the
enthusiasm and confidence in the players it is important to provide them training. If they will be
provide de infrastructure and place where they can practice will help them to perform effectively
again. There is requirement of professional trainers that can help them. The main problem that is
faced is related to finance. Here the WISH is taking various steps to raise the funds. These funds
are required to provide them training so that they can again play in a way that helps them to gain
importance at international level.
According to Hannonen, 2017, Funds play an important role as COVID 19 has caused
various problems. If the funds will be available then the players will get more opportunities as
well as they will be able to get training. Proper training can help a person to perform effectively
as well as it enhances the confidence level of the employees. All this is important as
communicate effectively with all of them as that will also help to develop relations with them.
Good relations will help the players to be developed for the game. Sportsmanship is vital for
them to perform effectively. The task is to raise funds for the players and train them as they have
lost their practice due to COVID 19.

Results and conclusions
It in seen that it is important to know about the skills that are required by an individual to
complete the tasks effectively. In this report the problem of client is identified and the steps to
address the problem are also mentioned (Moran, Israel, and Sebelski, 2021). As the project is
completed in team so there is contribution of all the team members in working and solving the
issue of the client. The impact of COVID 19 on the football and their game is mentioned. The
point of view of various authors is given in this regard. Also there is reflection experience
shared while working in team and the changes that are important to incorporate and will help to
understand the problem and solve it.

Working in team is effective and helps to achieve all the goals and objectives. It can be
analysed that while working in a team the most effective task is to ensure coordination among
team. As all the group members have different point of view. It is not easy to understand and
work with all the people that have different understanding. It is also examined that if there is
proper communication and the goals and objectives are clearly defined than the team can work
together and achieve the goals and objectives. If all the team members think on individual basis
and not in a team that the targets can not be achieved.
I have examined that it is important to change yourself in a way that you are fit to work in
team. Everyone is reluctant to change but the one who adopts the change is successful. Every
individual has different ways to complete a task but if they have to work is group then the should
adjust them selves accordingly. I am a good speaker but while working in team I felt that it is
important to be a good listener. As there is requirement of effective listening skills to understand

the view point of others and then take a decision. I developed my listening skills. I also analysed
that to work in a team there is requirement of strong decision making skills as that will help to
solve the problems and take effective decision. By working in team and completing this project I
have learnt that changing according to situation is important and will help to complete the task
successfully.
