INTRODUCTION
Personal and Professional development is the process through which the organization
and individual engage in the process of learning to meet the challenges and desire goal. This
report covers issues such as personal SWOT analysis, ways to achieve the job.
MAIN BODY
SWOT Analysis
Strength-
I believe that my experience as sales assistant and trainee manager will count if I apply
for any job in any field as work experience is one of the most important thing which is counted
and considered at the time of recruitment by the companies. Other then this I have skills which
can come into use of technical related (Kroll and Dussias, 2017) work. For instance I can
complete the task in an easy manner if it is related with Ms word, power point, excel. Apart from
that I also posses knowledge in the area of C++ which I learned when I was in high school. I was
promoted two times in one year because of my performance in work that is from trainee manager
to assistant manager which tells that the company can easily rely on me and my work. I achieved
the target of selling most fragrances as compared to others in the team. Company got regular
feedback for me as the way I handle the customers is very impressive which is a valuable
resource for every company. I can have control over three languages which is Romanian, English
and Hungarian which means that I can easily handle those clients who speaks these languages
which is again beneficial for the company. I am more than qualified if it comes to the aspect of
academics as I have completed my diploma in BTEC, I have a certificate of GCSE in
mathematics and currently I am pursuing the degree in BA hons.
Weakness-
I have a weakness that I don't believe that there is any limit to my work and interest in it
but it is not a benefit it is a concern as exploring all areas will leave the chance to gain expertise
in one particular area which is more important than exploring all areas and loosing the center of
attraction. Sometimes I used to get over involved in work of other people which I later realized
was invading their privacy and in order to maintain the relationship with others and maintaing
my image in their eyes it is necessary that I rectify this and work on changing my application. I
need to gain the control over Romanian language as I am not fluent in that language. I know the
basics of it but it is necessary to improve those skills in order to make the right impression in the

eyes of the customer. I need to improve my skills of reading and writing as I was not good in
both the aspects and when it comes to noting anything down or writing down the highlights or
reading out the areas which is important to the company then it creates a problem for me as well
as the company as it affects the reputation of both. These are the basic things which needs
improvement in the area so that I don't make a mockery of myself or a source of entertainment in
front of people.
Opportunities-
I have the opportunity to work hard gain more experience and then apply for the post of
general manager of the company. (Vetere and Stratton, 2016) It is not an easy task for me as
getting a post like that means that to compete with many people who has more experience than
me in many areas which is I cannot afford to do anything which affects my performance if I have
to achieve my goals. Apart from that I believe that with this I need to get more qualification as
companies are preferring those people who are more qualified and there is a lot of competition in
every area though it is a sales job which makes my level of qualification more than enough but to
pursue higher goals it is necessary that I work on these areas.
Threats-
There are many people who are looking for the same job and for the same post in the
same company with the same level of experience or it can be even more which is a threat to me
as I can loose the post from them. (Ramia and et.al., 2016) To win the post over them I need to
make a good impression on the recruiters of the company and answer them with every question,
express the knowledge related to the work, about the company and my role which will help the
company to grow their operations. Candidates or contemporaries who are more qualified than me
have a advantage over me and they can get the job easily.
Ways to get the job
There are many ways by which I can get the job and they are through online such as posting my
CV on their websites. It makes finding and looking for a job easy as it can easily helps me to get
the job in my selected field. It is a very convenient method and takes less time to upload my
achievements and qualifications and the post I am looking for can be applied by home. This
aspect helps to save time so that I can do more research. There are many websites to look for a
job such as indeed, Linked In etc. which makes looking for a job easier for both the company as
well as the candidate. As it is also easier for the companies to recruit with the help of this aspect.

Other than this there is also the method of referral which is referring of one person to other. That
other can be his friend, relative which is advising him that there is a place or an opening for a job
for this post and if the concerned candidate is (Corrall, Delaney and Cleary, 2019) interested then
he or she can apply for the job. The chances of getting the job from this method is easy as
compared to other methods as the person who refers gives a good word of mouth that managers
of the company hire them easily. Apart from this there is one more method which is directly
walking into the premises of the company submitting the CV and if there is vacancy then the
interview will shortly arranged in that time. Though it is not a convenient method as I had to go
to many companies and travel many long routes to just submit the CV and some of the times they
don't even arrange the interview as they don't have the vacancy. It decreases my morale but I
never gave up as I knew that I will get the job sooner or later. One more method there was
finding out the vacancies for job in the newspaper as many companies still use this method and
all I needed to do was send my CV on the ID of their HR after contacting them then they
arranged the interview.
CONCLUSION
From the above studies it has been concluded that my achievements and qualifications are up to
the mark and I am suitable and eligible for the company. I possess the required skills and
candidates which are required by the company and the years of experience I have gained is the
most powerful strength I have.
