1.0 Self-reflection on personal learning and development,

1.1 Identification and reflection on my approach to personal
learning and development
Personal development or the self improvement includes the activities which
develops the individuals potential and capabilities, facilitating employibility increasing
the life quality, building human capital and also the dream realization and
aspirations(Vogler and et, al., 2018). Personal development might take place in the
entire life of a human and not limited to one phase of the individuals life. It consists of
the informal and official actions for the development of others in roles like guide,
teacher, manager, counselor, mentor or coach and not limited to self aid. If personal
development happens at the institutions level it is called programs, methods,
tools,techniques and system of assessment offered for supporting the affirmative
development at the level of individual in the business organizations. So in short it is a
process of enhancing and developing ones personality. It aids the person in gaining
the confidence and self esteem. It has a positive effect on the skills of
communication and how does they perceive the world. It will play vital part in my
development and progress. It will allow me in exploring significant area of growth for
getting the feeling of accomplishment in my life. It will assist me to get more
benefits for making my career and life more successful. With the aid of personal
learning and development I will efficiently and effectively figure out about what I need
to do in my future for the achievement of my goal. It'll make me to get clarity and
information about my goals of career. By the setting of achievable and clear goals, I
will get encouragement for achieving the goals effectively. All this will aid me in
learning all the new things and build the new skills for my academic and
professional career effectively. By skill development it will aid me to enhance the
success chance, manifestation of my dreams and achievement of the goals of career
and personal in best way(Salam and et, al., 2019).

by attending this module
Transferable skills refers to the proficiencies which are very useful in the
different industries and jobs. They can be used for positioning the experience of the
past for applying to the new job in a different sector(McDonald, Boulton and Davis,
2018). For ex- employers look for the candidates who have the strong skills of
communication. There are many skills which can be transferred to the employers
which the person already possess. Here are some skill which I can transfer to my
new employer-
Communication- Strong skills of communication is known as the ability of
imparting information to the others by the way of speaking, writing etc. Skills

on time. They trust the same individuals for successfully managing
assignments, managing and goals.
Teamwork- It is the ability of working with the others towards the common
objectives and goals. Effective team work needs different qualities like active
listening, empathy, strong communication. Effective teamwork will help me in
interviews for understanding how well I will work with others in the firm.
Adaptability- These skills are used for continuing the work towards the
objectives and goals even if the projects, teams, goods or management
changes. Employers prefer to recruit those candidates which learn quickly the
new skills and procedures for ensuring the work is completed fast, effectively
