INTRODUCTION Personal development refers to those tasks which helps an individual in its overall development and improves his quality of work in its regular life. Personal development is a life long process in the life of an individual. The portfolio identifies the significance of personal learning and development in a person’s career.Henceforth, the main emphasize of this portfolio will be on different approaches to inculcate personal learning and development in an individual. The portfolio will lay emphasizes on personal development learning log including transferable skills, leadership skills and interpersonal skills. Under this portfolio, an action plan has also been created. MAIN BODY Personal learning and development Personal development is the process which provide assistance in accomplishing the goal of life in effectiveaswellasefficientmanner.withtheassistanceofthepersonallearningand development programme I have ability to improve my quality of work, add more values in my skills in order to lead the better career path. I have adequate sources to develop the skill for instance education, for proper guidance teacher, mentors , family, self help which strengthen my skills. nowadays it is playing essential role in day by day as it add more values in the skills and knowledge in our life (Beenen, Pichler, Livingston, and Riggio, 2021). When I attend the lecture I determine that the personal development programme increase the potential in context to develop the ability relater to employability. The speaker provide guidance to me and clarify my career path which need to be smooth and successful for the better future. Along with that I identify that I can acquire the opportunity to become more skilful as well as enhance my personality. This process of learning and development is beneficial for the long period of time and improve my employability skills for the better future.It play vital role in operating the forthcoming challenges in proper or valid style. Beside all of this I personally acquire the possibility of determining my own strength and weakness by which I make improvement and modification in my lifestyle (Bottomley, and Willie Burgess,2018). Also, I can clarify the area of improvement which help me in increasing my confidence and deliver ability to take more challenges as well as capability to lead the candidate or workers in the future. I personally believe that I am confidence enough to represent myself and the organisation in the market or in front of the audience. I have the capability to complete my task on time with proper
systematic form which will assigned to me for the particular period of time. Beside this I am self- motivated person who is enthusiastic to acquire more knowledge and have faith in delivering the ethical values (Butina, 2018). Moreover, I have the capability to operate or manage work-life together or keep balance between professional as well as personal life. As I am critical thinker so I am able to make fast decision for the employees and for welfare of the organisation. simultaneously I find difficulty in solving the problems of the employees and the members of organisation who is facing the difficulty within the company. Moreover, I have the habit of making too much research which I considered as my weakness because too much researching on something create confusion and divert the mind from the task. it is very important to keep your mind stable at workplace in order to play the best job role (Choi, Slaubaugh, and Tian, 2021). Due to this researching process some time I consume extra time in delivering the perfect data. As the time is precious t is important to deliver the data on time in international companies. Transferable skills The skills I have develop at the time of attending lecture and working on the learning and personal development programme. Through delivering more strength to skill will help in improving the resume and I am able to elaborate or expand my CV to attract the attention of the interview in order to grab the better opportunity poor the future (Immanuel, Sankar, Saravanan, and Jose, 2021.). My transferable skills are mentioned in a such manner which is as followed as: Leadership skill: I determined that I can become the good leaderbecause I am the confident personalitywhowillnothesitateinmonitoringandcontrollingtheemployeesofthe organisation. therefore, the manger or the leader is to enhance the performance of the employees by motivating them toward the same goal of the organisation (Koprowska, 2020). I have ability to cooperate and coordinate with the members of the organisation or the other people. Time management: it is essential element in which the task supposed to complete on time. I develop the time management skill in more effective manner it is the most required skills of the organisation as well as interviews because if you are not able meet the deadline in allotted time then there is no sense of giving hard efforts at workplace. Learning skill: by my personal observation, I observe that I can acquire the knowledge or the information rapidly as I am having the capability of learning things fast . it also give assistance in delivering the effective service in a given time period (Moldoveanu, and Narayandas, 2019.). Problem solving is one of the skills which need to improve for my better career path . problem solving is the major issue at the workplace as the hr manager is responsible for solving the problem of the employees as well as consumer if I am not able to solve this problem then I will not able to accomplish my future goal in adequate way (van der Vleuten, van den Eertwegh, and Giroldi, 2019).if I improve this skill of problem solving I am able to satisfy the employees and enhance their performance for the better productivity of the organisation. Another issue is too much researching which need to improve for the personal developmentand better career path. This is the biggest weakness of my because it will create misunderstanding sometime as I got confuses because of analysing too much data available on the internet provide different information at particular topic. The researching process consist of various information, collection of the data and various analysation . in order to improve this skill, I need to make research in my spare time rather then doing research on working hours (Zaghloul, 2018) . furthermore, it will increase the level of my confidence and provide assistance in briefing the employees in perfect manner which will be productive for the organization.
