Personal and professional development are important for a person
in order to develop their career (Dahl, 2019). These development
helps to build various skills and capabilities which is required by
a person. This presentation includes description of professional
field and analysation of personal planning of a person as it helps
them to attain their career goals.

Describe a given professional field
Professional field is an occupation which is require
completion of degree and as well as licensure for
eligibility of employment in occupation (Danzig and
Wright, 2017). Different professional field are available
for an individual which provide them options in order to
select one as per their capability and skills.

Discuss and analyse your career
planning
Career planning refers to planning as well as self-evaluation
conducted by a person in order to have strong and effective
career path in their life (Hartney, 2020). Career planning
process is one of process which include understanding of
oneself and includes various steps like setting of career goals,
updating skills as well as searching doe suitable career option.

Discuss and analyse your career planning
There are various types of goals which can be develop by a person which are as
follows:
 Short term goals: Short term goals can be attained within less time and less
efforts. These goals help to attain long term goals by providing support for them.
 Long term goals: Long term goals can takin more time in attainment in compare
to short term goals as it require proper planning, time as well as efforts (Helmchen
and Melo-Pfeifer, 2018).

Career maps is one which reflect career
path of a person for attainment of career
goals of a person. These career maps
provide direction in which direction a
person needs opt put their efforts.

SWOT analysis:
SWOT analysis is one of analysis which can be conducted in order to assess
strength, weakness, opportunity and threat of a person, organisation of other
things (Sciuto, 2017). This SWOT analysis helps in identifying threat and
weakness of a person. A persons can develop various strategies and planning
in order to overcome of these weaknesses and threat occur in their career
life. SWOT analysis of on me based on self-assessment are as follows:

strength as I am self-

situation where problem occur, I
got panic and don’t understands
what to do in this situation.
 Another weakness of me
includes hesitation in speaking in
group of people as I am introvert
person.

to handle group projects and
allow me to handle team
effectively.
 These weaknesses create threat
for me as it does not allow me to
face interviews effectively.

was working as human resource
management where I needs to
provide solution to a problem.

Strength of a person is those which helps them in creating opportunity in life
and helps to overcome of weakness and threat of a person (Tour, 2017).
Strength of me which are inked with my career path are as follows:

 Motivation skills

Identification of challenges and
their possible solution
Challenges: Challenges are those which create barrier and problems
in attainment of career goals of a person. It is difficult for a person
to overcome of these challenges as it requires proper time and
efforts. Some of challenges faced by me in attainment of career
goals are as follows:
 Financial problems
 Time management

Solutions: There are various challenges and problems occur in
path of career development of a person. These can be solved
with efforts and proper planning. Some of solution for
problems occur in path of career development are as follows:
 Taking education loan
 Developing strategies to improve grades

Conclusion
From above mentioned project report, it can be concluded that personal and professional
development are important in life of a person as it helps in development of various skills and
capability in a person. There are various professional field available which can be selected by
a person on basis of their interest and capabilities.
