growth is to increasing learning power as well as innovative things, by that a individual person

solutions to resolve them (Avalos, 2011). Mark and Spenser is one of the famous and largest
company in UK, which is dealing with trendy clothes also it is popular for skilled labour and
effective management system by that employee are systematically complete their decided task
also provided better quality of services and products to customers as per their requirement (Black
and Plowright, 2010). In this research report, will be discussing about various types of lent
manner. There also will be explained about different types of time management strategies,
warning styles and how to encourage towards achieve decided goals and objective in
significahich assist to manage all works and activities relating to the organisation as well as aids
to develop better understanding and working performance of individual employees in company.

effectively improve learning capabilities and working performance as well. There will be
explained some different types of approaches, that played eminent role in entire business
process and helped me in learning new skills. While working in Mark and Spenser, I have
learned various self managed learning approaches, some of them are following:
 Seminars and conferences: This is one of the best method, it includes an individual
person for improve knowledge and skills by attending various types of seminars and
lectures. In which an individual person interact with various kind of people having
different prospective , it supported in order to develop my understanding and enhancing
skills (Bolton, 2010).
 Social networks: At this time technology regular developed that's are assist to develop
performance and working skills of a person. In this process through using different kinds

of social sites, I was able to interact with any person as well as it supported me in being
casually to share any information with each others.
 Internet: This is one of the best and smart technique in current time period, whole world
is effectively completing their works in a fastest and appropriate way. With the help of
internet an individual is able to collect information related to any area, along with this it
is simple and less time consuming. It helped me developing understanding about various
issues in small amount of time. Along with that provided information was accurate also.
According to me there are various other options are also available through which an individual
person is able to learn various styles. It helps to raise their skills and capabilities (Brody and
Hadar, 2011).
 Visual: In this method, I have gained knowledge with the help of pictures, images,
symbols and so more. It supported in maintaining by memory and also increased my
concentration level.
 Aural: As per this technique, a person's skills can improve with the help of sound and
musical things and items. These both things are assist to develop better understanding and
provide actual and reliable information to an person. It helped me in developing
understanding about the emotion, feeling and reaction of an individual with the help of
their voice, pitch and voice. It enhanced by behaviour knowledge about an individual.
 Verbal: Knowledge enhance by using verbal technique. In which tow or more persons
are verbally communicate with each others. With the help of this approach, I was able to
develop my linguistic knowledge. It supported in enhancing my interaction with my
subordinated as well as clients.
 Physical: In which involve gesture, touch, eye contacts etc. It helped me developing the
idea and knowledge through actions of an individual.
1.2 Techniques of lifelong learning
Lifelong learning is a continue process in which an individual person can learn and
effectively perform their duties and responsibilities. Employees of Mark and Spencer having
much more talent and capabilities by this they can systematically provide services to customers
and give them proper satisfaction to them. There will be explained SWOT, that helps to resolve
personal issues and problems.

capabilities and hidden talent, by they can effectively perform on their task. Along with
this easy to identify inner quality and skills of a person.
 Weaknesses: It helps to define weakness and negative points in a person. On the basis of

 Opportunities: This is play very important role, by this I can easy to learn something
new and innovative things. Along with this long and short term goals are considered on
the basis of that motivation and encouragement are provided. It helps in releasing
pressure and enhances learning capacity of an individual.
 Threats: It refers to, various issues and risks which can be affecting on person, which
may be negative and positive in nature.
According to me, there are different types of methods and techniques available , through
which an individual is able to improve capabilities and skills. According to me it is very
beneficial for future growth also. Along with this, learning power is one of the important thing
by this a person can effectively perform their decided task as well as attend goals and objectives
(Desimone, 2011).

It is important and compulsory tool for individual person and organisation for their
positivity and increasing capabilities and skills of a persons. Self managed learning plays
significant role in both terms. While working in Mark and Spenser, I have experienced several
benefits, which are following mentioned:
 Control extra cost: This assists to control and manage cost of training and development
program which is conducted for improving working capabilities of individual person and
it helps to manage organisational activities in appropriate way.
 Decision procedure: Its also take a part in decision making process which can be related
to a person and company as well.
 Management: This is not easy to manage employees in company as well as enterprise's

competitive advantage, They always tries to compete each others by using new and innovative
things and methods in entire business. In this process various workplace problems raise such as:

Learning styles play essential and significant role in the organisation to reduce risks and
problems. There will be defined many learners, they having all knowledge and information to
how to eliminate obstacles form workplace, which are stated under:
 Strategic level communication: This management process is developed in order to meet
long term objectives. During this process strategies are developed based on the concept,
planning and goals of the company. According to me, with the help of this
communication management approach, public interaction is increased due to which an
individual would be able to overcome hesitation (López‐Pastor, Monjas and Manrique,
2011).
 Tactical level communication: In this process strategies are developed by considering
the short term objectives of the company. Along with this intelligence and learning
capability of an individual plays significant role under this process. According to me, it
helps in developing the effectiveness of decision making activities and helps in
presenting viewpoints properly.
 Operational level communication: Under this method all the strategies are develop
considering the operational model of the organisation.
Along with this, all these learners helps to find out better and suitable solutions by this individual
person can effectively resolve problems and issues as well as reduce risk from organisation
(Ebert-May and et. al., 2011).
4.3 Use of time management strategies
Time is very precious in nature, it is very necessary to effectively manage that as per the
per decided plan and strategy. Because it helps to completing all works and tasks on the time
with appropriates solution.

assigning priority various factors are analysed such as cost, price and time. It helps in

organisations are able to arrange, control and monitor processing of the task. Along with
this it supports in allocating resources effectively. Through managing this process

the prioritised task are assigned higher rank into the plan. Along with this it helps in
reducing the complexity of the task by distributing into smaller units.
With the help of above steps organisations are able to implement effective strategies for
time management. It increases productivity and profitability of the firm and also provides various
opportunities. Through implementing appropriate time management steps they are able to
minimise stress and pressure of their employees.

decided goals and objectives. According to my experience, I have a quality of learning so I can

According to personal development plan now I come to know about my long term and
short term goals and learn how to achieve them in minimum time period in effective manner.

effectively developing them, I have to overcome and control my emotional feelings and
have to become strong business person. Along with this it have to build effective skills
and capabilities, so that I can face any kind of problems and issues as well as resolve

and goals. First of all, I have to be improve my communication skills, by that I can easy

this it helps me in boosting my confidence.
