MAIN BODY Explore one personal quality and explore it in depth. Personal and professional development of an individual is very important. It ha splayed a very great role in my life. With the help of various workshops I am able to develop myself such that I can contribute in developing my personal and professional which has helped me effectively managing my work and life. This aspect is very crucial for me because with the help of this, I am able manage my growth and development of certain skills and knowledges which assures me to work safely, legally and effectively. This is the ongoing process where individual can acquire various skills and knowledges in different stages of life. By attending the workshops, I am able to realise that the key strength which I have and through which I am effectively able to accomplish the personal and professional objectives is my strong leadership skills. It is my one of the most crucial strength which motivates me to learn different perspectives of life and apply them in personal professional aspects. Stronger leadership skills helps me in influencing the people so that they work for business goals and objectives effectively and efficiently. This leadership skills is very important for me because with the help of this skill I am able to provide regular training to my team and motivates them by identifying the needs and requirements of the employees and generating suitable motivational tools and techniques. For this personality quality I will use a relevant theory and the name of the theory is Cattell’s Trait Theory in which I will conduct the study through which I will be able to assess the large number of factors for depicting my personality. Under this, I have gathered the life data which has helped me in identifying and analysing my everyday behaviour. I have also gathered
the experimental information which has helped me in standardising experiments by using various actions taken by me in different situations and I have also collected the questionnaire information by taking answers for the different questions regarding me and my skills in order to introspect my behaviour. As a leader, I am accountable for various actions and activities which are undertaken for my organisation. My leadership skills has also influenced me to motivate people regularly. It plays a very crucial role in my personal and professional development of the career. Because being the leader I am highly organised and well mannered which has made me directed towards the business goals and objectives. For explaining my leadership skills, I will use Cattell’s Trait Theory which comprises of 16 different elements of individual personality. The first personality trait is abstractedness in which there are two different perspectives namely, imaginative and practice. Well as a leader, I am highly practical in nature and also in my attitude, which helps in devising practical solutions and thinking practically that generates better results. The another trait is warmth where the individual can be reserved and outgoing and I am highly outgoing in my work and actions. The vigilance is the another trait according to which a person can be suspicious or trusting. So I am highly suspicious where I used to properly suspect and inspect the each and every elements of businesses which helps me in taking better decisions and actions. The tension is described by the nature of the individual which consist of impatient and relaxed and I am highly relaxed because this helps in keeping my mind calm and I am able to think critically and analyses better outcomes. The apprehension is another elements which helps in considering the worried and confidence where I poses a strong confidence in my work and actions. I am confident enough that the actions which I will be taking will provide better results for me. In my emotional attitude I am highly calm through which I can effectively devise better results for the organisations objectives. There are various attributes and behavioural preferences which helps me to a greater extent in underpinning my strength. personal and professional aspects of life. I am highly passionate towards my work and understands the importance of accomplishing the tasks on relevant period of time. I am able to set vision for the company and this helps the employees to work in accordance with it such that they will be able to fulfil the aims and objectives effectively and efficiently. My learning ability has always been one of the key motivational tool for the employees where not only the employees but even I am involved in regularly learning the new tools and instruments which will help me in developing my personal and professional life. I am highly punctual and always arrives at my workplace before my employees arrives which also act as a strong motivational technique for the employees. I am highly satisfied and considers the leadership skills as my strength because my employees and co workers also believes the same. This is because I used to listen to them very carefully, tries my best to understand their problems and devises a stronger solutions which will give them immense satisfaction. I am highly innovative and kept on applying new things in my personal and professional life. For instance, I kept on applying different leadership approaches and styles in different conditions at my workplace and in personal life I kept on applying new strategies to build my leadership skills like strong time management techniques helps me in not only staying punctual but fulfilling all the personal needs and requirements within the relevant time frame. I have used the reflective practices in my actions and work such that it has helped in learning and analysing that what I have learned and how I can apply the content and information which I have learned. Reflection is a kind of skills which I can learn and is a very crucial practice through which will help me in analysing social works and can only be understood more appropriately by understanding the work which is to be adopted by different people differently in varied situations. By adopted reflecting practices, I will be able to think more appropriately, will be able to make comparisons and verifies different things for different perspectives. The process of reflection is entirely focussed towards the changes and enhances the improvement of practices. Similarly reflexivity is another important term which I will be using in working styles and practices. This will help me in knowing my personal attitudes on the aspect of the potential of the individual in order to take into consideration the various issues and practices. The concept of reflexivity will have a very dominant and crucial impact on individual in analysing the influence on individual in relation to the culture, the context on research and the type of knowledge which will be created.
While attending the workshop, I have experienced many positive aspects about myself. But at the same I have faced crucial difficulties and challenges. There were many participants in that workshop who has different opinions in compared to me which sometimes has restricted me to ask questions. The major problems was that there were people of different countries which has created a cultural barrier and I was unable to understand the language spoken by them. This has restricted me in various aspects to communicate and develop relations which also sometime has become boring. Apart from this, in that workshop, there were people of different generations including adults, freshers who have just passed out from universities, older people, etc. and this has created the conflicting interest and opposite views. Because adults used to think by considering the quality and brand, while older people used to consider their time of experiences and I consider the practical and critical approaches which has lead to the differences in opinions and lack of sharing and communicating. Also, the new and fresh people are highly concerned about the latest technology while older people still assumes that work can be done without using proper technological because they are very expensive and adds a huge cost for the companies. So therefore, all such aspects has restricted us to communicate with one another because no one was able to understand the each others point in a practical and reliable manner and according to each of them their point was correct. So my experience of attending the workshop was mix of bad and good instances. No doubt I have learned a lot but at the same time I have dealt with such different perspectives which can also be considered as a positive experience because this helped in knowing the different types of people exist in the global world. The theory of Cattell’s Trait is highly useful in developing me the different problems which I have faced. Because with the help of this I am able to learn and analyse the different perspectives of different individuals like some were highly stubborn and were tough by heart who can also be considered as authoritative in their nature and behaviour. While some were highly unprofessional and does not follow the discipline and proper code of conducts. Yes, there are various contradicting evidences in the workshop where I was not able to apply leadership skills properly. This is due to the dominance nature of some people have stopped in placing my viewpoints because I cannot argue unnecessarily to the unknown people which will waste my time. Apart from this, some assumes that their actions and view point are perfect and they do not want place attention and interest in listening to any one else which
creates a barrier for me to communicate. Some people are on higher level position in their respective organisations so they used to assume that they are more better than me and they does not show any interest in listening to my points. The concept of happen stances is concerned with the occurrence of some event or situation which was not expected by anyone. This situation or circumstances helps me in dealing with unexpected situations. For instance, suppose there is some urgent and important meeting at my workplace and at the same time some emergency arises at my home then with my effective leadership skills of being punctual by managing time accordingly, I will be able to maintain a proper balance between different situations effectively and efficiently. Thus, this will help me in dealing with different business situations. Apart from this, when there will be some quick changes in the external environment then I will be able to quickly take decisions by adopting autocratic style in my working. Thus different types of leadership style can be used by me in different business situations and decisions will be taken which will be advantageous not only for me but for entire organisations. The efficacy is the another important term while devising reflection on own quality and attributes and overcoming the challenges which will be faced by the organisation. The concept of self efficacy is concerned with assuming in the potential of the individual in order to accomplish the business goals and objectives. I have a higher level of self efficacy which helps me in controlling the results of different situations. Locus of control is concerned with the relation to which people assumes that either they have a controlling power or they do not have a controlling power over the different business situations. There are two types of locus of controls namely internal and external. In internal control, it influences those individuals who are themselves responsible for controlling the different situations and success or failure. While in external control, the individual influences the outside forces for their success or failure. In this, I have a strong understanding of theses factors and and I am a type of person who is solely responsible for the success and failure of my success and failure. This is because whenever any external unexpected event occurs then also I take decisions in order to meet those occurrences and then the success and failure is entirely dependent on me and my actions. I never blame any one for distracting me or leading me towards the failure. This is one of the main reason that even while attending workshop and experiencing the problems I considered it as a favourable aspect where I got an opportunity to know the people of different culture and opinions. This is one my special

attribute that even if I am successful then also the credit is mine and if I lose anything then also the fault is mine. The business world is highly dynamic in nature and so attending the workshop for personal and professional development is very important. I already have a effective leadership skills which I consider it as strength and through this I have achieved the various business targets and goals, leading the organisation to the greater importance. But by attending the workshop, I will be able to develop several other skills which are equally important for me to lead the employees and people within the organisation. This will be very advantageous for me in future due to the high level of fluctuations in external business world where any contingent even can occur and this will require the major decisions to be taken. By attending the work shop, I will learn the importance of identifying the importance of macro environmental factors. In future, when the organisation will face any contingent business situation then I will instead of panicking will deal with the situation by applying the different concepts and theories which I have learned in the workshop. This is because practical knowledge is more appropriate and applicable compared to other applications. For instance, when there will be any technological changes in the prevailing atmosphere then as a leader I will be adopting such changes and making people understand the importance of accepting changes. In this workshop, I have been trained regarding the manner in which people can be convinced to accept the changes. I will apply the similar manner in my organisation where I will not only explain the importance of accepting changes but also provide the employees with different benefits to them for accepting changes. This will help me in freely accepting the flexible approach where I will be able deal with the people effectively. They will understand that changes will help them developing themselves in the professional and personal era of their life. In the near future, apart from technology, there are also different changes specially the changes in customer tastes and preferences. The primary motive of every company is to satisfy the needs and requirements of the customers. For such changes, I will be able to provide effective and proper training sessions to the people working in the organisation. Such training programs will help them in learning new skills and techniques of doing work. When people will be able to learn the new skills and techniques then this will motivate them automatically and my leadership skills will be effective and successful enough in order to
achieve the desired results. Thus, this will leads to overall development of mine in professional and personal field. CONCLUSION From the above file it has been concluded that it is very important for the individual to concentrate on their personal and professional life. It helps in assuring the individuals that by developing themselves, they are able to keep the relation with the present standard of the workforce needed in the professional field. With this, they are insured that their knowledge and skills are up to date. Thus, it is a life long process and is a manner in which individuals are able to assess the relevant skills and attributes which are needed to accomplish business goals and objectives.
