Personal development can be defined as the self improvement which consist of activities
that develops the individual potential, capabilities, facilitate employability and also enhances the
quality of life as well. Along with personal development, there is requirement of professional
development where it is all the kinds of learning opportunities. It include academic degrees, non-
formal learning opportunities and conferences as well. From the personal professional point of
view both the kinds of development are very important(Akrivou and et.al., 2020).The present
report will cover discussion about the reflective journal that discusses about the contribution of
achievement of employability and also about the study skills. It basically include research skills,
communication skills, team working, time management and problem solving skills. The report
basically consist of the application of model in the entire process of reflection such as Gibbs
reflective cycle or Kolb's reflective cycle.

I have observed that at the time of attending university I have gained different types of
skills which are helpful from the personal and professional point of view. It has been observed
that without attending the university and without having any skill it is impossible to grasp the
highly paid job in this competitive environment (Albrecht and et.al., 2022). For achieving the
higher scale of employment it is necessary to develop the skills into proper manner with
approach of right nature. This process of experience can be helpful by the application of cycle
model of Gibb's reflective which has been explained into following manner:

I have observed that at the time of attending university I have gained different types of

that without attending the university and without having any skill it is impossible to grasp the

where did it happen, what happened, what did you and other people do, who was present.

and what did you want to happen. While I was in the learning phase at the university
level, I have faced various kinds of challenges, difficulties and also achieve success from
the perspective of learning. I have learnt different kinds of skills such as research skills,
communication skills, teamwork, the use of ICT, problem solving skill and time
management as well. At the time of learning there were teachers and some seniors who
helped me into the entire process of learning different kinds of skills. The main practical
application I have learnt from the seniors because seniors are mainly constant touch with
external environment changes and technological improvement as well(Cheon and et.al.,
2018).At the time of learning, I have showed the positive approach towards learning and
there were certain friends and classmates who act as support system in learning those
skills into practical manner. I was in the university because I was pursuing a course
which will help me in terms of my professional development. The outcome of the
situation is that by learning all these skills I became more confident, enthusiastic towards
my career into result oriented manner. I have taken initiative to learn the things into fast
pace manner with the right kind of approach.
Feelings: Under this head, it is mainly about the feelings or thoughts which have been
explored during the time period of experience. It include certain kind of questions such as
what were you feeling before and after the situation, what were you feeling during the
situation, what do you think other people were feeling about the situation. In addition to
this, what were you thinking during the situation and what do you think about the
situation now, what do you think other people feel about the situation now. While I was
learning at the university level, I was not feeling very confident that whether I can learn
those skills into successful manner or not. After learning those skills, I was ready to face
the external environment and I have made my base very strong in order to proceed my
career into positive manner (Howard and Eddy‐Imishue., 2020). According to me, I think
other people also felt nervous about the situation at the initial stage of learning. After
learning these different skills, people also felt more confident, to the point in the similar
kind of way that I was feeling. At the time of learning these different skills, I was
thinking that whether I can learn these skills into confident manner or not within a set

that the individual should be very proactive in terms of nature and also need to be
adaptive as well(Pugh and Broome., 2020). The good thing about the experience is that
everybody is supportive in terms of nature and also take efforts for contributing in the
result oriented form. The bad thing is that while learning it is not possible for the teacher
to give the individual attention to every student in such a large group of people. That's
why I have to be very attentive in terms of nature at the time of learning so that I can
grasp the things with the right kind of approach. At the time of learning, I have evaluated
