INTRODUCTION
Each individual need to learn new skills and capabilities at each stage of life in order to
grow and develop in personal and professional career. Their are various academic skills which
need to be developed for better understanding and study like digital, research, note taking and
many more. This report is based on module of personalised learning which would be fruitful to
me in understanding key skills that I need to developed to get higher success in future career.
ASSESSMENT PART B
Personal learning and development plan is used for self analysis, personal reflection in
order to identified my key strength and weakness in order to make best use of opportunities and
threat. It helps me in taking deciding regarding the way I can improve my key skills and
capabilities to get higher success in professional career. Therefore, Personal development plan of
myself is as follows:
Strength
From my previous experienced or
during the seminar I have identified
that my key strength lies in effectively
note taking which helps me to easily
write important point in sequential
order. Note taking is best skills that
helps me in noting and retaining
information for longer time frame
(Clark and Post, 2019).
Digital skills is also one of the strength
of myself as I always make use of
computer, smart phone and other
devices to gathered useful information.
So, it can be understand that I have
strong command on digital technology
which helps me in better gathering of
information.
Weakness
There are key areas in which I need to
improved in order to develop academic skills
for better learning and development. Such as I
have understand that I am unable to make good
research in order to gathered useful
information, facts and figure. Therefore
research skills is one of weakness which I need
to improved so that my academic objective can
be achieved.
Academic writing is also weakness as I found
difficulty in appropriate structuring and use of
vocabulary so that content can be made
valuable or more useful.

Opportunities
There are various opportunities which
I can grape in near future, by making
use of my current strength or
overcoming my key weakness. Like
by enhancing my academic skills, I
would be able to gain more
advantages over other student. I can
easily and quickly learn the way I can
make project or write content that will
helps me in getting higher grade.
Threat
The biggest threat is increase in
competition level as there are
numerous students in university that
have more academic skills and
knowledge (Elfeky, 2018). There are
numerous brilliant student in
university that have good research,
digital and other skills which helps
them in getting more grade as
compared to others. Thereby I need to
improve my existing academic skills
in order to step ahead from several
other individual.
Setting goals
There are few goals that I have set in order to get higher success in future circumstances
by working on my key areas where that create hindrance in effective learning. I have set goals
that are realistic, achievable and measurable such as:

Personal objective are actionable statement that contribute in growth and development of
individual therefore I have make some short, medium and long term personal objective that I

research or digital so that I can easily learn or grape things that are taught by Lecturer.
To become brilliant student in the university.

Getting a part or full time job in reputable organisation within 2 years in order to get

To get promotion in organisation by learning new method or strategies.
Develop more skills and capabilities while studying or doing job in specific
organisation.
Long term personal objective
To become successful entrepreneur or owner of company in order to earn more profit
and reputation.
To have secure, happy and luxury lifestyle within 5 years of time-frame in order to
enjoy each aspect of life.
CONCLUSION
From the above report it can be concluded that personal development plan is useful in
identifying key strategies that could be used to work on existing skills in order to achieve end
goals.
