Abortions should be banned. It is a horrible thing to do! They are extremely
dangerous due to millions of women dying from getting abortions. Besides, poor
innocent babies are killed under horrific circumstances. Any act that results in the
death of people is wrong. Don’t support abortion.”
Population increase has turned to be one of the greatest problems that the world has
been struggling with since a long time. The banning of abortion will lead to a great increase
in the population. Moreover, banning of abortion will lead to several economic issues of the
country (Zane et al.). Hence, the essay arguments against the topic that abortion should be
banned.
In a survey conducted in Mexico on abortion, it has been found that around 70% of
the people believe that abortion should be legalised. With the development of science, there
has been development in the medical science that ensures abortion safe and if the foetus is
immature will not lead to any problem in the future to conceive. About 6 out of 10 adults
argued on the topic that abortion should not be banned. However, the rest argued on the
banning of abortion. Increase in the population is one of the major reason that abortion should
not be banned. The increase in the population leads to various basic requirements that the
government must provide to an individual (Upadhyay et al.). The US Supreme Court has
declared abortion as a fundamental right that has been guaranteed by the US Constitution. It
is a right of privacy that encompasses women to decide on abortion.
According to the government of the US, it is the choice of the women to decide her
reproductive organs if she is willing to give birth to the child or not. The ability in decision-
making enables women to participate equally in the economic control over their own life.
Personhood begins after the child can take birth and live without the womb. When a woman
is aborting the foetus, it is the embryo and not a living child (Faúndes and Iqbal). According
