1) Preparation Week One (Placement Launch)
Learning Experience: What did you do? What did you learn from the sessions? How well do you think you
participated?
As the agent I first searched for the agency in which I want to be placed. I have learned about CV development in
order to apply for the placement as the desired requirements in person specification. I have also learn about different
agency and warehouse. I participated whole heartedly and actively in all the activity during this session.
What went well? What went not so well? Why? How can you assess this?
The interaction with the instructor of the placement launch and other members of the team went very well. But the
my catching power to grab everything quickly was difficult for me as the session was fast with so much for learning. I
assessed this through my note taking skills as I was not able to prepare the key points quickly.
What did you learn/achieve? Which employability criteria does this event impact upon? Have you changed how you
feel about your placement? If so, how? How do you want to be perceived on placement?
As the agent communication skills are very necessary therefore, during this this session I developed my verbal and
written communication skills. This skills will impact my functional skills as an agent between the agency and IPS
contacting company and and also build my confidence for having good communication skills. Yes, I have transformed
my thought's from nervousness to the confident person. I want to be perceived as quick learner, confident aqnd
effective personality candidate in placement.
Reflection: How will this experience be used for your personal development? What do you need to do or know before
you start? What practical actions can you take before your placement?

2) Preparation Week Two (Placement Launch)
Learning Experience: What did you do? Have you enjoyed working in mixed groups?
In the next session I attended other activities to improve my abilities and to gain more information related to the
interview process and how to introduce myself in front of interviewer. In this session we performed in a mixed groups
which I enjoyed very much as this help me in understanding my team working skills and also help me in
understanding others perspective.
What went well? What went not so well? Why? How can you assess this? Do you feel more confident about starting
your placement?
In this session of group activities everything was very interesting and fun. I learnt through peer and peer support. But
meanwhile I also faced problem in interacting with all the members in the same language I was facing a language
barrier during the communication. I realized this when I was more interacted with people with same language. Yes, I
definitely feel more confident about starting my placement.
What did you learn/achieve? Which employability criteria does this event impact upon? What have you learned about
your personality preferences? What attitudes or behaviours will help or hinder your placement and how?
In this session as the agent I have learnt and developed my team working skills in the diversified team which is highly
important for this role when I will required to work as team player between the two parties. This will impact my
collaboration skills and team working skills. I have learnt that personality is more extrovert and I easily indulged with
the people and make them feel comfortable in interacting. I helping and interactive attitude and behaviour towards
my team members will help in my placement as this will exhibit my team cooperation and collaborative attitude.

What support will you need? What do you want to achieve from your placement?
This whole session has provided me a memorable experience as while working in mixed group I met so many people
which helped me in building networks. This team working skills has improved my personal growth. I expect that

3) Placement Week One (On-site Placement)
Learning Experience: Tell us a bit about your placement. What is the organisation, what does it do? Where is it based,
with how many staff? Are you clear on your role/project/targets?
This placement is about the agent recruitment who can work there as an agency. The name of the organisation is IPS
contacting based in Wolverhampton. The company is the warehouse company that has service of co- pack operations.
The staff of the organisation are flexible and work as a team.
What went well? What went not so well? Why? How can you assess this? How did you approach your first week?
What impression do you think you made? What are you excited/confident/nervous/worried about?
On the first day of the on – site placement people were polite and highly supportive. I faced the issue in
understanding the large area of the organisation and their system of co- packaging in different segments. I can assess
this through my review of whole week. I approached my first week at the on-site placement positively with full
enthusiasm. I was able to make a good impression of my personality among my employers. I highly worried about my
next week as I will be assigned with y responsibilities.
What did you learn/achieve? Which employability criteria does this event impact upon? What might you have done
differently? How confident did you feel? What could help you? Do you know where to go for support? Have you
contacted your Placement Tutor?
I have learned about the new techniques of packaging in the warehouse and also as agent how to communicate as a
dealer between two organisations. This will impact on my functional skills and my power of learning. I would have
prepare a pre schedule before reaching to the company in order to stay updated about my duties rather than wasting
my time their in preparing the chart sheet for the work. I was not confident as I was very nervous. The motivational
speech from my employer and co-workers. Yes I went to HR manager for the support. No I didn't contacted my
placement tutor.
