Background and Reflection
Background and reflection: A brief introduction to the context of your placement (200 words)
I will be working in an organisation where I will be performing the job role of a Student recruit officer. As an
individual I always wanted to explore my abilities and skills and work in human resource development and
welfare department. This is a huge opportunity for me as a professional entering with a great profile in a
professional body to learn more and explore my potentials. With this placement I will be performing several
different tasks and roles in order to support the placement and recruitment of the company. Recruitment and
selection is a critical process requiring several analytical and evaluation skills to be upheld by the person
involved in the recruitment and selection process. This is one of the major and critical, role & responsiblity
of the human resource department open respective company. I am really glad and Happy received this
amazing opportunity to work with such a prestigious institution and to offer them my skills attracting more
talents and potential.
Preparation Week 1 & 2 (Placement Launch)

Learning Experience: What did you do? What did you learn from the sessions? How well do you think you
participated? (100 words)
As a Student recruitment officer there are several tasks and activities for which I will be responsible and
these are are as follows:
I will provide career and academic counseling, planning and advising potential students.
Create a database of prospective and current students or potential degree candidates in the area.
I will also create and distribute resourceful materials for student recruitment and retention programs
such as analyzing trends in recruitment and retention programs and developing strategies for program
evaluation.
As well as i will also prepare reports and proposals, respond to inquiries from students and agencies
and will develop operating goals and objectives for a unit.
I received learning and experience through the entire program and also participated with all my will and
enthusiasm with the focus of learning and getting the most out of the entire opportunity that I received.
What went well? What went not so well? Why? How can you assess this? (100 words)
I was responsible for conducting several different activities and have words with my my entire potential and
willingness in order to perform the best. But as a professional I I am still learning stage and not an expert
therefore there was certain activities which went really well but there were certain activities which created
