or opinion without giving them proper credit for their work. In academic
writing process, it involves taking author's words, ideas or opinion without
properly acknowledging their efforts by using citations correctly. For
example: Plagiarism can take place in different industries such as academic
field, business world, Arts field, Politics and can also takes place in

Mosaic plagiarism: This type of plagiarism is performed
unintentionally by the writer. In this case, the plagiarist
mentions the relevant source of information but fails to
consider the quoted part or properly putting under the
quotation marks.
Accidental plagiarism: This form of plagiarism is generally done
accidentally by the writer. In this, the plagiarism can happen
if the writer misunderstands the paragraphs taken from the
source material or unintentionally cites a wrong source of
information.
