1. Introduction
This report of the project is based on the depiction of the scenario based on depicting the
scenario based on shifting of property of an individual. This report would be able to include each
of the breakdown of activities that would be performed during the design of the project plan. The
project design based on shifting of an entire family to an entirely differently location. The family
is currently residing in Sunshine Coast. The family would be shifting to a different location
based on the needs of job purposes. Thus this report helps in describing the various kinds of
assumption and criteria that would be needed for the development of the milestone plan. The
Gantt chart would be useful for indicating the task flow. Based on such kind of adjustment on the
provided scenario, a personal reflection have been provided about the ways in which the report
and project plan have been determined.
2. Overview of the Scenario
This project scenario is based on defining the plan of implementation of a certain project.
This project is based on depicting the scenario of shifting of the project. The scenario depicted
here is based on a family of two adults named as Jeff and Kelly. Both of them have two children
Will and Lexie. They also own a dog and two cars. In a certain situation, Jeff has recently
secured a job as an interstate Marketing Director. After the security of the job, Jeff has planned
for a relocation of his family to Perth. In the present times, Jeff is residing in a two room
building on rent basis in Maroochydore that is situated in Sunshine Coast, Qld. Jeff and his
family would relocate to a certain rented four bedroom suburban house within Perth. Jeff has
paid the entire rental amount to the owner of the property and thus his booking for the rented
house has been secured.

As per the new job scenario, Jeff would start his new job on the 5th February, 2019. As
per his job needs, Jeff would need to shift to Perth due to the job suitability. Thus, Jeff would
need to vacate the current rental property within 20th January 2019. Jeff and his family would
shift to their new rental property as the rent would commence from 27th February 2019. As per
the scenario provided, it has also been mentioned that the school term for Perth would commence
from 31st January. Based on the current scenario, it could be discussed that the project should be
completed as per the given budget provided. The plan for the project should also be completed
within the proper schedule and this would be highly needed for the completion of project.
3. Adjustments within the Schedule and reasons
During the implementation of the project, there have been some kind of adjustments that
have been made to the schedule of the project. The work of planning of the project based on
relocation of a certain property have been able to proceed based on the various kinds of
developments within the plan of the project. The schedule of the project would have to be
designed properly in order to schedule the tasks of the project. There might be some kind of
situations in which the tasks could be performed as per the given project schedule. There are
several reasons for change within the schedule of the project. The two main reasons for bringing
in changes within the project schedule are based on situation of conflicts and usage of resources.
This project is based on the house shifting project. This project is also used within the
change proposals and defining the changes within the scheduling of activities within the project.
The most important changes within the project are:
 Packaging of materials for shifting – During the phase of packaging of materials based
on shifting, it was previously considered that the phase of the project would last for 8

days. During the further evaluation of processes, it was seen that with the bringing of
more workforce within the management of changes within the job functions, the task of
packaging would be reduced to 3.2 days.
 Checking of electrical appliances – The function of checking of electrical appliances
would last for 6 days as per the previous planning of strategies in the shifting phase.
However, it has been further seen that with a further improvement within the checking of
systems by the people, the task would also be reduced to 1.71 days.
 Checking of water supply – The checking of water supply within the various channels
of the house had been assumed to last for 6 days. However, the water supply department
with their efficiency within their operations had finished the work within just 2 days.
The improvement in the several processes of house shifting project have proved to be
highly necessary in terms of reducing the time and the effort by the workforce. This would in
turn have a significant impact on the reduction of prices of the various tasks that could have been
incurred as per the previous estimations of the project schedule. Changes within the scope of the
project would also have a significant impact on the overall structure of the project. This would in
turn lead to the improvement in the project schedule. There would be a high form of negotiation
with the various stakeholders involved within the project. These stakeholders should abide by the
various standards defined within the standards of work. This would help them in coping up with
the changes that would be needed within the project.
4. Personal Reflection within the Process
During the conduction of the defining of the project management process based on
defining the scope of the project, it has been seen that the project would be extremely helpful for
the use within the shifting of the family. The project based on shifting of a house to a certain

location has been very much helpful for understanding of the various kinds of schedules and
important tasks needed for the development of ideas that could be put into action during the
phase of shifting.
In the introductory part of the report a brief introduction has been provided that is able to
describe each of the activities that could be conducted during the project development stages. A
brief overview scenario of the entire project have been provided within the report. This brief
overview that has been provided within has been able to describe the entire scenario of the
report. This overview provides the inner detailing of the structure of the project. It also describes
each of the activities that could be conducted within the project.
Based on the various kind of activities that could be outlined within the report, I have
clearly outlined the list of activities that could be included within the Gantt chart report. During
the listing of activities within the report, each of the persons who would be responsible for
performing the tasks have been mentioned. These persons would be solely responsible for
carrying out the details of the project and the assigned tasks. The Gantt chart also provides a
detailed analysis of the entire list of start and end time of the particular activity. The predecessors
of each of the activity within the project have been properly set in order to meet up to the
previous expectations raised by the project.
During the conduction of the Gantt chart, some milestones have been detailed out, which
have to be completed within the given schedule. The setting up of milestones within the project
is a major concern for the project. They help in determining that the project would be completed
in their assigned due time. After a thorough analysis of the first part of the Gantt chart analysis, it
has been seen that were certain areas in which there would be certain level of improvement
within the project. I have found that the various kind of improvements needed within the project

would have been highly needed for making various kind of improvements within the project
schedule and the various work activities. It has been seen that have been certain kind of
modifications that have been made within the project. These modifications were made in three
activities of the project. This has been helpful for the making of changes within the project and
thus enhance the efficiency the shifting works of the project.
Based on the various kinds of activities within the project, it has been seen that with the
development of various kind of activities within the project, it has been helpful for me to
understand the activities needed for the completion of project. I have been able to develop the
Gantt chart of the project on my own effort. The various adjustments made have been made
during the upgrading of the project have also been helpful for me to understand the ways in
which those changes could be made within the pre-defined schedule of the project. Thus, with
the conduction of the activities of the project, I have been able to understand the various aspects
of the implementation of project management within the house shifting project.
