1. Describe how the different kinds of play you have planned stimulate and aid learning.
Provide specific descriptions of the play and how it stimulates the children and aids their
learning.
There are different kinds of play such as physical play, social play, constructive play, and
fantasy play. I have planned different kinds of play which stimulated and aided learning. I
would like to describe about the play in the kitchen. The children pretend to cook, clean,
and save the world. This helps them in nurturing the imagination and improves the sense of
adventure. This kind of play stimulates the children and aids their learning. This will help
them to learn essential skills such as sharing, caring, working with others. This helps them
to concentrate.

2. Describe specific aspects of the different kinds of play you have selected and relate them to
how these play activities are appropriate for the children under your care.
Provide specific descriptions of the children under your care to support your answer.
Your responses must include how you implemented the support strategies for the two (2)
children with additional support needs as outlined in their personalised support plan.
There are different kinds of play which I selected. These are exploratory play,
manipulative play, constructive play, dramatic play, physically active plays, language-
based plays, music, and movement plays and creative plays. The toys, materials and some
resources which are provided are the important parts of the play. There are many safe toys
and equipment which can be bought from different sources like shops and educational
supplies. At the centre, there are some children who were not mentally stable, the time I
was doing my placements. These children needed some special care to support their
activities. I implemented some strategies which helped the children who required special
care. These strategies are making them feel secure and letting them know that the educator
is there to help them.
3. Describe specific aspects of the play activities you have selected and explain how this support
the emerging physical needs of each child.
Provide specific examples of physical skills supported by the play activities you have chosen.
ANS: There are different aspects of play activities which helps to improve their strengths
related to physical, cognitive, and emotional strength. These aspects are enjoyable,
meaningful, symbolic, communicative, sociable, adventurous, risky, and interactive. This
helps the children to find the creativity in their own. For instance, they learn how to
improve imagination and physical strength. As we know, play is an important part of
healthy brain development. This helps them to engage with things which are nearly around
them.
4. Describe how these play activities provide the children experiences to explore a range of
concepts.
Provide specific examples for a range of concepts. (Example of concepts may include but are
not limited to on/off, full/empty, sharp/dull, up/down, big/little, thick/thin, hard/soft, etc. For

ANS: The play activities help children to explore different concepts like on/off, big/little,
up/down and many more.

5. Explain how specific aspects of the play activities you have selected support the following
areas of children’s development.
Physical
This provide the strength to the children performing various play activity that
also enhances the muscle development within children.
Creative
By Play activity children can be creative by performing their role play in play
activity. They support their creativity skill and enhance their learning and
education.
Social
Through play activity children can being social with their peers which are
highly effective and allow them to get interacted with others to form better
relationship.
Emotional
Through play activity children may get emotional. This can be learn through
perform various play activity that emotionally attach them with various activity
and develop and support emotional impact.
Language
Through play activities, children learn to use the language for communicating
with their peers and other person. This language may include sign language
vocal or any other language through which they can communicate with their
peers others.
Cognitive
Through play activity, children get their cognitive development which allowed
them for their proper growth and development and improve their quality of life.
