Provide children with a wide range of natural and recycled
materials in their indoor and outdoor environments
The toys the children used were recycled. We utilized the natural materials
(clay), trees and the natural nature for the art. For example, the kids were
instructed to draw their surroundings, or a tree outside. There was
modelling using clay.

environment and the interdependence between people, plants,

As we did the outdoor activities, I explained to them how we

The bin collection was divided according to the type of
waste. And the wastes were processed and reused, for
example the waste foods were used as manure for the plants
outside. This was important as it instilled environmental
care in their young minds.
