INTRODUCTION
A collection of formal legal organisations that forms government is called as political
system. It outlines the procedure of creating official government decisions associated with
utilisation, production and distribution of nation's resources. It also constitutes duties and
responsibility of public as well as outlines their rights and privileges (Atkins, 2019). The
function of political system is to maintain consolidation of communities by ascertaining standard
norms. The selected political system is of USA to compared it with Australia.
This report highlights the political system of United States of America and Australia as
well as their comparison to determine which country has better system.

Political system of Australia
Political system of Australia is formed on the basis of traditional liberal democratic, that
includes freedom of speech, association and religious tolerance. Its practices and institutions
reflect North American and British models with the unique feature of Australian policies. The
constitution of Australia outline the rules or responsibilities as well as set out the authority of its
three levels such as legislative, executive addition to judicial.
The legislative level of political system includes the parliament which makes laws and
regulation with legislative power for country. The executive level of political system works
under the law made by legislative and the ministers of this level are administrates of government
which provides law and guidelines to judicial level to work at local level (Busia, 2018). Where
as the judicial branch of political system allows for constitution of nation's courts of law as well
as removal or appointment of its judges. The main purpose of courts is to explain all laws with in
country involving constitutions as well as creating rule of supreme law. Australia has mixed
political system and has three branches such as representative democracy, constitutional
monarchy as well as federation of states.

Political system of United State is formed on the basis of presidential system as well as
constitutional federal republic with many branches and level of powers. The national government
is also known as federal government of nation which composed three clear level that share
authority. The levels are executive, legislative as well as judicial that carry out democracy in US.
