MAIN BODY
Curriculum vitae
A CV is being refereed to as a elaborated document which highlights my
professional as well as academic record in the most organised manner. The range of
such documents covers data like personal information, schooling record, achievements,
working expertise or experience, awards, any publications, research projects of my work
(McGloin and Georgeou, 2016). Resume is different from CV, as the resume is being
considered as a tiny form which render a brief of earlier roles as well as details about
their personal and academics. On the other hand, CV is a detailed version document
which is much longer and majorly focussed on the research work conducted and the
past experience an individual holds and used in jobs and fellowship.
Cover letter
A cover letter is a one page written letter to an organisation who are offering a
particular job which is suitable for my expertise. An ideal cover letter has to cover the
part where a person introduce themselves and write their skills in the most unique way
so that the person reading the letter find it valid and encouraging (Gray, 2015). They are
often written while attaching other documents like CV or resume. Job seekers send
such documents for getting an appropriate job and desired position for explaining their
potential and capabilities to the company.

Emails
An electronic mail is a relevant data that is exchanged among two or more users,
such information is normally stored on a computer. The content of email may include
files, images, text or any other attachments sent via proper network to a particular or a
group of people. Informal email are addressed informally in less detailed and passive
form to a relative or a colleague. Whereas a formal email is sent to a strange individual
or to someone who are in higher post or authority. Such document result in free and
instant delivery of message either locally or globally. Sending mails are considered as
Environmental friendly.
SWOT analysis
SWOT analysis refers to such strategic and logical planning technique which is
effectively utilised in determining my strengths, weaknesses, opportunities as well as
threats associated to any competition or planning a research. Such analysis have been
utilised not only in planning organisation behaviour but also used in evaluating personal
state. The analysis covering the personal level, determines the field for development
and priorly concerns the perspective of career (Gürel and Tat, 2017). The evaluation
primarily focus on a specific aim or problem a person want to clarify or address. The
threats and skills used in one objective can not be used in another issue, thus SWOT
analysis is important.
Group work
Group work requires a unit of student or employees working collectively on a
specific aim which has to be accomplished in the given time frame work. A defined
number of individual voluntarily associate to up level the outcome of the aim than can
be attained singly. The size of group may range depending upon the defined objectives.
The aim of such collaborative work in to enhance the abilities and intellectual
capabilities of a person while residing in a big group. It also help in generating effective
communication skills and upgrade leadership qualities. Growth associated to personal

Thinking into character
The thinking into character is a freshly made programme which help in
transforming the life of the students while teaching them how to achieve maximum goals
and think better. Such behaviour will further lead such individual to a productive and
high quality life (Sowden, Pringleand and Gabora, 2015). Such programme supports the
development of children and make them adaptable in the dynamic environment. The
child through such help become effective in setting career and educational goals by
determining their personal expertise and passion. It has been observed that such
programme reduces toxic thoughts and help them overcoming stress and depression.
Referencing
When a person uses some other individual work it is their responsibility to
acknowledge such sources. Referencing basically means acknowledging the sources
from where the data or any information are being taken. The references need to be
cited in the main body of any report. The citation should be added carefully and at all
the places from where the work is being interpreted (Bunnell, 2015). The full references
should be added at the last of the report with an appropriate style. Not only the data
must be recognized but all the work either it is is the form of image, theories, concepts,
music, designs, codes must be acknowledged.
Interview skills
Every person must acquire some interview skills for meeting all the eligibilities
and attaining a position as per their capabilities. One has to be polite while giving
interview because their way of speaking calmly and giving answers in polite manner
impresses the manager and such practice increases the chance of getting hire in their
suitable post. At most companies people are also judged by their outfits, so the person
is advised to wear ironed and clean formal suits while giving interview. The body
language should be well maintained, one must sit straight and keep constant eye
contact with interviewer for making a positive impact (Patterson and et.al., 2018).
Data interpretation
Data interpretation is being defined as a process of implementing the procedures
by which the information is reviewed so as to arrive on a logical and appropriate

conclusion. The data interpretation provides a suitable meaning to the data which are
being monitored and further its implications are determined. The value of data
interpretation is immense, thus it has to be completed carefully for comparing the data.
The information are usually received from several sources and has a property to enter
in the procedure of evaluating. The characteristics and nature of interpretation may
range as per the subject to subject which is based on quantitative and qualitative
analysis.
Academic writing style
Academic writing style defines as the mode of expressing the intellectual
boundaries related to the researcher disciple and their particular expertise. The features
of academic writing generally covers use of third person, formal tone, a clear idea of
directing the issue of study and the selection of words. Such type of writing is formed to
convey definite meanings and concepts for the people who are conducting research
(Ariyanti, 2016). The academic writing is more complex and highly precise when
compared with other type of writing and spoken language. The words used is more
accurate and focus on a specific objectives. The writing is more organised and well
planned.
Plagiarism
The term plagiarism is refers to copying the concepts or the words of any other
person and then pretending to be originally invented by them. Such practice strictly
against the laws and the use of others writing is considered in violating the copyright
laws. If any students are caught while using such practice then the school or the
university have the right to expel such child which ultimately downs the reputation of
such students. There are few type of plagiarism, direct plagiarism involves using other
work word to word. Self plagiarism involves submission of ones earlier work by any
student while mosaic plagiarism takes place when some phrases are being borrowed by
students.
Paraphrasing
Paraphrasing reflects the concepts as well as the ideas which I have read in my
own words. This skill is considered very important in academic skill, which help an

individual to demonstrate their ideas which they have understood from reading a
content. The practice not only involves in changing several words rather it focus on
translating some other people ideas into my own words. The words which are originally
used by the author has to be completely altered so that they no longer resemble to the
original work (Nakov, 2019). The paraphrasing are often mistook as plagiarism or too
close to the previous work despite correct and different usage of the words, thus the
task of paraphrasing is very tricky and difficult.
SUMMARY
According to my point of view, all the academic skills are very essential in making
the personality of a person and bends the future as per their effectiveness. CV actually
contains all the professional as well as the personal data which the interviewers need to
recruit a person, thus for applying to any kind of job the first step is to submit the CV of
a person to an organisation. Once the CV gets selected, an individual are being called
for the personal interview. The aim of cover letter is to introduce myself to a company in
a single written letter to draw the attention of managers and encourage the leaders to
read the documents and give fair chance to a person. Through this, a student can get a
chance to make first contact with the professor or any managers with whom they want
to work with. The collaborative work renders ample of opportunities to the company and
must be promoted to all sectors for increasing the efficiency among the team members.
Students learn to become confident and extrovert while working with diverse student,
such practice maximise the learning capacity of a student. It also lower the work
pressure from the employees working in an organisation. Thinking into character
programme helped me to learn how to determine and achieve their set aims, it also aids
in regulating the self image of person and successfully eliminates the barriers of
prosperity. All such practice makes me a better leader who can easily grasp difficult
things and can easily lead a group.
Referencing is the way through which the authors are being credited in ones
research work. The authentic data which are collected from other workers are added in
the citations, such practice make the research work more valid and appropriate. Good
interview skills are necessary for getting a reputed and high paying jobs which further
make the future bright with full of opportunities. All interview skills must be used at the

given situation accordingly for making a good impact on the interviewer so that the
person can get recruited. Data interpretation leads in explaining the analysed data and
then renders the chance of comparing such data. The collected and analysed data aids
in forming logical conclusions and also helps in predicting future of the study by the
students. The use of academic writing skills assist in enhancing the understanding of
the readers, it is always written in complex and formally toned manner which does not
make usage of long sentences and remain centres to the study objectives and methods.
It helps a student to write concisely and clearly by providing applicable evidences.
Plagiarism may be detected in the work of any student or workers due to the broad use
of computers, thus it have to be rectified that the content must be originally made for
improving the quality of study and to increase the probability of accepting the proposals.
The practice of paraphrasing ensures the writer to express their own perspective in
more clear and shorter way to make a concise argument.
CONCLUSION
From the above report it can be concluded that academic skills makes me much
more confident and reliable. Such skills assist me in finding perfect jobs and then
applying through CV and cover letter. Many benefits, opportunities and power to make
crucial decisions are more sharpened through such skills. It made my data interpreting
skill more enhanced and improved the way of academic writing better.
