INTRODUCTION
Portfolio is the integration of the investments that is made by the person or the
organisation for the sake of the success. Success is the achievement of the goal according to the
vision and the mission. It generally describes as a peace of mind that is result to the self
satisfaction to give their best efforts and shows the attitude of the success. This report is based on
a person who is looking for a job after completed the graduation and find their ideal job. After
that they need to define the job specifications and the available resources that are helpful in
finding the appropriate job for the success of their personal life. It is very important to know the
specified job for their future success so that they will earn high income and high status success in
the society. Specify the particular job and focus on the particular field helps in finding the
valuable job that gives the overall success and interest of doing that specific work(Bodie, Kane
and Marcus, 2015).

What is the ideal job
In this the ideal job as per my skills and knowledge is marketing manager. I want to
become a marketing manager and perform a task related to them in the reputed organisation. As
per the demand of the today’s businesses marketing manager is the perfect job that gives the
more opportunities in the future terms. As I studied the marketing and get the degree in
marketing so that i have enough knowledge about this job and it’s the interesting profile and
contains more smart work. After analyzing the job role focus and spend all the energy in
achieving the goal that is more important task. It is an encouraging graduate career in the
developing market towards the awareness and the social media. It is very important to have all
the skills that help in building the experience in the competitive world. As a marketing manager I
can connect to the external environment very appropriately which is very interesting and scoping
as per the demand of the current world(Czaplewski and et. al., 2016).
Job description for the role
This report helps in providing the marketing manager job description that is more
important for a person to analyse the roles and re3sponsibility as a marketing manager first

before entering in that field. In this there are role of a manager of a marketing that can be
discussed below(Schindler, Armstrong and Reed, 2015).
 Marketing- The first and foremost role of the marketing manager is that they have a
good knowledge of monitoring the marketing, creating the advertising, making the
strategies for targeted the customers and the develops the strategies related to the pricing
on the basis of which a good and services are delivers to the customers and company
earns high amount of profits.
 Communication- It is very important as a marketing manager to communicate very
clearly and concisely to their customers and in the market to maintain the position and
goodwill of the organisation. Communication is also important to all the staff members
who are working as a team because to achieve the overall goal of the success(Yogo,
2016).
 Full knowledge about the digital platforms- As per the today’s environment demand
people are very much addicted towards the use of social media and because of this
company can promote their products and services on social media platform. In this
marketing manager play an important role as they have full knowledge about the online
market and stay up to date on that market to boost the business sales and
revenues(Vithayasrichareon, Mills and MacGill, 2015).
 Advanced planning and strategic thinking- Another description for the marketing
manager role is that they always plan in advanced as a back up plan and always focus on
the strategic thinking. It is very important in the changing nature demand. I have learnt
all that skills during my graduation so due to this I want to become a marketing manager
in the firm and make the success of the company in the new heights.

Person’s specification refers to the candidate skills that are important to accomplish the
task for the applied position in an organisation. It includes the requirements of the education,
training experience, skills, knowledge and competencies for qualified a particular job
requirements. It can be shown below(Davies, Kat and Lu, 2016).
 Knowledge – First specification for the marketing manager job in a person is that they
have a full knowledge about the market and the demand and taste of the customers to

earns a high amount of profits. In this it includes the academic and professional
knowledge about their field and cautions about their computer software skills. To grow
the career in a particular field it is very important to gain more and more knowledge
during the lifetime.
 Skills – It includes that skills which is required for a marketing manager job position in
this a person having the good communication skills, research skill, presentation skill,
good thought process skill and the computer system skills. All this skills are important
and the essential to fulfills the requirements of a particular position in a company. In this
I have good skills in all the fields by working as an intern in a company and get an
academic knowledge on this.
 Experience - It refers to that term in which a candidate can experience by using
voluntary activities and study on a particular profile and their work specification on that
area. Because practical experience is more important than a academic experience. To
complete the specification for a marketing manager profile a person need to have an
experience of at least two years so that they have a great knowledge about the market and
the customer demands and on the same time how to aware customers about their products
and services which si more important(Fich, Harford and Tran, 2015).
 Competencies – It includes the person behavior on dealing in a particular situation. How
they perform and complete the task independently at the time of crises arise. It is very
essential for every job profile but most importantly to the marketing manager profile.
How it can complete the task with a minimum supervision and person ability and the pro-
activeness of a person in doing a particular task.
To qualify for a particular marketing manager I have a great knowledge in academic and
professional terms about the marketing and have a experience of a two and a hour years in a
company in a small organisation. This helps in qualify the job role in the firm. During my
previous job I have a grate knowledge regarding communication. Effective thinking, making
creative content and research the market and find the target customer demands and the needs.
All this helps in getting the job profile of the marketing manager. I can handle the difficult
market situation in a very clam nature all this requirements for the job fulfilled to qualified
the position. After analyzing the whole market finds the best opportunities and provides the

solutions for the threats that were present in the marketplace to earn the high profits and
market revenues.
Available resources at the time of finding the job
It is very significant to find the appropriate resources for finding a job. Without using
these resources it is very difficult for the company and a particular person to find and apply for a
vacant job position(Fliedner and Liesiö, 2016).
 linkedIn – It is an important resource where the professional in all over the world
connects and make a productive and successful resource. It is the largest network for
searching the job profile whatever a person needs. It fulfills both the demands a candidate
and a company. In this organisation place an advertisement for the vacant position and
interested candidate are applied for that particular job. This site is also popular for the
employers who review the profiles of the workers talents. It works for strong persons that
are conducting the passive job search where they want to apply and employers of the
company can find them.
 Indeed - It is the best site that shows the large number of job listings from many
different types of websites in which it includes career sites, job boards, associations,
newspaper and many other various sources for posting the job. In this a person first
uploads their CV and gets a personalized link so that they share with the employers for
the interested job position. In this I find the job related to the marketing manager and can
apply for this and send the resume to the employer of the organization who needs the
marketing manager.
 Career building - It refers to the largest board for the job that provide job listing, career
advice, résumé posting and many more. It is the biggest source for the job seekers where
number of services they have received. It also helps the company to secure their listing

for the jobs and it complies the listing of the job position from using different sources. It
is the best source and resource that I personally find its good because in this a person can
search for the job or find the job by simply typing on the search bar and the Google for
jobs provide the status related to the vacant jobs. In this it pulls up the related listings that
the people find more. It is the integration of all the sites which is beneficial for the job
seekers to search for a job on a Google without finding the place because this site can
automatically see the results that was present in the marketplace.
From the above explained various resources Google for jobs and the career building both are
very helpful to find the job related to the marketing manager and also provide various advice
about the particular type of job role which is very beneficial to select the future goal related to
this filed. By using career building i can see the various company and there working condition
and revenues and take advice related to it as it is good for the future or not. And than apply for a

Google where I got the thousands of results and than select the appropriate one which is more
beneficial for the success and the personal growth point of view(Mensi, Hammoudeh and Kang,
