INTRODUCTION
Portfolio is defined as combination of student’s academic work and other type of
educational evidences that aim towards reviewing quality of coursework, academic performance
and learning and development progress (Baker and et. al., 2015). It helps in evaluating whether
students accomplish learning standard criteria, graduation, grade promotions etc. Presents report
is students reflective account in which different type of skills is included that are required during
course work.
SKILL REFLECTION
During my college tenure I take use of different type of scales in which some of the scale are
inherited by me but some are required during lectures mentioned below there are some certain
skills that I have developed during my academic life
Communication Skills
Communication skill is defined as an individual ability through which they give or receive
information to other person. It involves speaking, listening, observing and emphasizing. During
my college lectures communication skill has been learnt by me that not only help me personally
but also improve my academic life. During my academic lectures this has been realized by me
that communication skill is mainly three types that are oral, written, and visual. All these skills
help me to make significant improvement in my grade.

Presentation Skills
Presentation skill is most important aspect in college tenure at it allow and individuals to
engage target set of audience for a favorable time period towards chosen topic (Valentino and
Reardon, 2015). This also involves accurate body language, speaking manner, voice, slides etc.
At the initial stage of my college life this has been evaluated by me that I am not having
presentation skills in an effective manner as it was hard for me to engage audience focus towards
my presentation. But with the help of different classroom sessions and teachers lessons I
effective developed skills like attractive slides, eye contact, body language, speaking skill that
make significant improvement in my presentation skill and help me score high marks.

Reading skills
Reading skill is an essential aspect in academic tenure as it allowed individual to
effectively read, write and interpret information in correct manner. This is most important skill
for each and every student and reader life. During my starting days in graduation year I face
many issues to read materials in time effective manner, as I was having weak vocabulary that
consumes my lot of time. But after reading countless books and journals I have developed
reading skills in effective manner that also increases my knowledge and vocabulary. It helps me
to increase my merit grades in effective manner.
