INTRODUCTION Health care systems aims at improving health outcomes of individuals, communities and families against health risks. Various health care systems such as NHS, Public Health England (PHE), Health Education England (HEE) aims at protecting and educating people against health and financial effects of ill health. MAIN BODY KEY ASPECTS OF UK HEALTH CARE SYSTEM Health care systems ensures that all individuals can access the quality and safe health care services. These systems also aims at creating awareness among communities and to emphasis on quality improvement so that mortality rates can be improved. National health service (NHS) is publicly funded health care system which work for providing low cost health care services to people. It assures that all UK citizens are able to access the health care services without any financial or accessibility barriers. In order to promote the healthy life style and to create awareness about policies of government and public health hazards, public health England encourages and conduct research for prevention and treatment of diseases and promotional events for health. Professional expertise in health care is vital and integral element of these systems. In the same direction Health education England provides and support education and training programs for the public health workforce. Thus the primary aspect of this health care system is to support the health improvements for patients and communities by delivering excellent and accurate health care services. Apart from the clinical services, social and personal care to old people, support to children or adults having needs specific needs due to illness is also an important aspect of health care system. The social care in England works in direction of providing social as well as clinical support to vulnerable communities in UK.These health care systems works in collaboration with each other so that
physical, mental, emotional and social well being of individuals in the community can be assured. STAKEHOLDERS OF HEALTHCARE SYSTEM The key stakeholders in health care system includes health professionals, insurancecompanies,patientsandcarers,governmentandpharmaceutical organisations. The health professionals such as physicians and pharmaceutical companiesareresponsibleforprovidingclinicalandmedicalservices.The organisations such as NHS and HEE sets standards and professional code of conduct for the health professionals so that they can deliver safe and quality health services. With increasing premiums and chronic diseases insurance companies are also providing financial assistance to patients and thus they are also influenced by legislative policies. The organisations such as public health England conduct various surveys to analyse the health status of people and on the basis of these results UK government forms health policies and regulations. The activities and decisions of health care system also influences people because they are the prime service users. CONCLUSION It can be concluded from the above that for leading to a quality life among communities and families health care systems must be improved and promoted.
