 There are different types of computers used by everyone which has made operations,
calculations, data processing etc. easier and convenient for everyone.
 In this presentation different types of computers will be discussed.
 The presentation will outline importance of internet for both individual and business.
 Further, it will discuss about social media which has transformed the way of doing
business.

CLASSIFICATION OF COMPUTERS
Computers can be classified under two categories i.e. According to functionality and

According to Functionality-
 Analog Computer: These type of computers are used to process Analogue data which is
represented in a physical form. Example: Mechanical Computers.
 Digital Computers: These type of computers are used to perform logical operations and
calculations using quantities as digits like binary numbers. Example: MacBook.
 Hybrid Computers: These computers are capable of both input and output of both
analogue and digital signals. Example: Computers used in Hospital to patients heartbeat

 These are one of the most powerful, expensive
and fastest type of computers which are capable
of performing immense amount of calculations
used for specialized purpose like for petroleum
Exploration, Nuclear energy research, etc.

 These are also one of the largest and expensive computers designed to perform
thousands of calculations simultaneously for users, mostly used by government
agencies like insurance companies or by large private companies who can afford
them.

Mini Computers:
 These are mid sized computers smaller and less expensive than mainframe
Computers. These systems are usually called as multiprocessing system which
supports time sharing and has high speed, capacity and size.
 Example: Higher-end SPARC

Micro Computers
 These are the most frequently used
computers also called personal computers.
These are of two types: Desktop computers
which fit into a single desk which consist of
desktop, keyboard, mouse and system unit.
 Portable Computers- These type of
computers are designed to carry in a bag or in
hand. They run on chargeable batteries.
 Example: Mobile Phones, Laptops, tablets,
etc.

 Intent is essential part of life of people in modern era.
 It provides the latest news and information about the dynamics of every place in world.
 If a person wants to visit any place then they can easily get directions form internet for
that location or place with the help of maps.
 With the help of internet a person can also share there location with anyone or with
everyone they want and they can also receive anyone, doesn't matter at which part of
the world they are.

where they can work for free.
