INTRODUCTION
The presentation aims to deliver a business plan to grab the attention of investors. It has
seen that, there is requirement of the idea generation on the business and analyse the problems
that will cause an impact on the idea. The idea is of Powerade Sports drink which is
manufactured by Coca-Cola company (Abdullah, 2020). The necessary requirements of a
business plan is to look for opportunity, market factors, customer behaviour and their needs and
wants. Also, the idea will be supported with business model and competition which are effective
for the requirement of developing a secured business objective.

The idea of brining the Powerade Sports drink is came from analysing the opportunity in
the market for health conscious people. The customer are being much health centric and wants to
look at their physical maintenance, for that instance, the idea for bringing Powerade will be
beneficial to those people who do not want to intake sugary products and require healthy as well
tasty way for satisfying thirst. The method used for finding this idea is research among the
customers insights behaviour.
The core product development process is to provide healthy nutrients and proteins with
less sugar and variety of minerals. This drink will be provided in various flavours and by
considering different people demand. For example people who want to gain fat, they can take
sugar drink and who wants to get hydrated they can have water powered. These choices gives
additional which fullfil each customer demand.
Problem and Need analysis
The main problem identifying in the market is of fining the right product which can
satisfy customer in their complex demands. People want to be health conscious but taking
something extra that will add nice taste. There is need for food intakes which are of low calories,
sugar and gluten substances that will not make any harmful impact on the human body. The
problem can be solved by giving powerade Sports drink in different flavours and additional
substances (Almeida, and Santos, 2018). Many people also faced issues about the dehydration,

muscle plain and low stamina while playing or running. The powerade drink will helps in staying
hydrated, maintain the blood flow and prepare body for energetic practices.
Market analysis
This analysis will helps in identifying the make surrounding in terms of internal and
external factors. It will help in analysing the need for idea and better strategies would be
developed. The market will become impactful in bringing a new idea and may lead to failure. For
that instance, there is requirement of the porter five force analysis:

Threat of new entrance: As per this market force, the company will have competition
by arrival of new market players. They may attract customers and secure better positions.
Therefore, the beverage industry would have high threat of this factor in retail sector due to
having free entry and exit. Therefore, the Coca-Cola would not have great impact of this factor
as it require huge investment and natural ingredients to provide free drinks.
Threat of bargaining power of buyers: This factor shows that the power of buyers
impact on thee decision of company. In retail industry, the buyers are complex in nature who do
not want to pay a high price for the similar products available in market (McKeever, 2018)
. Therefore, the Coca Cola may have low impact due to having high quality ingredients and
healthy substances that will be lied by the customer.
Bargaining power of suppliers: The suppliers are the crucial factor for the company.
They also must be keep secure to get good inputs and raw material. Therefore, the retail sector
does not have high impact of the suppliers due to having large in numbers. Coca-cola maintain a
relationship with them in order to get best raw material and they could shift demands if suppliers
try to charge high price.
Threat of substitute products: This factor shows that, the retail sector have high impact
of this factor. Due to having similar range of product, people may find its substitute for satisfying
their needs (Candraningrat, 2019). The Coca cola also have threat of this factor in other soft
drinks which impact on purchasing decision of buyers.
Competitive rivalry: it is the most influenced factor for the company which controls the
company operation and bringing new idea into market. The retain industry has huge competition
in food and beverages. Similarly, the idea of Powerade drink could get competition through
Pepsi.
