INTRODUCTION
Professional development is associated within the process of learning as well as
developing by the goal of earning professional credentials as well as maintaining it. It involves
conferences and academic degrees and many more (Saric. and Steh, 2017). Or in other words
Personal and Professional development is consider as the process by which the entity as well as
individual engage within learning process in order to meet the challenges as well as goals. It is
necessary for every person to develop themselves personally and professionally to achieve
higher position within career. It is also vital for every person so that improves their own
capabilities in order to improve within themselves and for the firm where they are working.
Present Report focuses on the evaluation of the personal and professional development where
there is Swot analysis of owns skills is done as well as use the smart goals in order to be more
effective reflection. Report also focuses on decision making techniques and problem solving
within the context of the personal development plan. Furthermore Report also focuses on
transferable skills by the programme such as business management.

SWOT analysis
It is necessary to identify own personal strength and weakness so that it can be improved.
For this there are several models and tools that is available which can be used. Similarly, i also
found that in order to attain my career goals and objectives it is necessary for me to analyse my
skills (Ward. and van der Mars, 2020). Thus, for that i have used SWOT analysis. It will help
me to find out strength and weakness and also i will be able to identify areas in which i need
improvement. Furthermore, with that i will be able to set goals and objectives of my career
which i want to attain. Besides that, SWOT will help in evaluating my current skills and
capabilities. Thus, it is as follows

I found that i am easily able to solve problems and find out solutions from it. i know that how to
analyse problem and then find out root cause of it. also, i am easily able to solve complex
problems as well. this is my key strength
I am easily able to do various task at one time. this means that i am highly capable in multi
tasking. I know how to handle and manage different tasks and complete it.
I possess leadership skills and i am easily able to lead team of 5-10 people. besides that, i have
knowledge about various leadership styles as well. i am also able to inspire and encourage other
people (Jaeger, 2018).
Weakness
My main weakness is that i am not able to communicate in proper way. it is because of my
introvert nature. I do not know various types of communication methods. So, this hamper my
performance.
Another weakness is that i am not able to take effective decisions. I always get confused in doing
so and this hamper my performance. Moreover, decisions that i take are ineffective. So, this
results in not obtaining of goals and objectives.
I am weak in completing tasks on time. as my strength is multi tasking so i get late in doing tasks
in deadline. It leads to impact on my productivity in negative way. i always get delay in finishing
my work. (Saric. and Steh, 2017)
Opportunities
I can learn new and advance skills such as research, analysis, etc which will highly benefit in my
career growth. With that i will be able to possess relevant skills and capabilities.
I can also do some online course where i will gain more knowledge about advance skills that is
required. Besides that, i will get aware upcoming trends in job and then according i will set my
goals and objectives.

I need to learn more about technological tools and techniques. It will increase my technical skills
and abilities. With that i can use different tools at workplace. (Carter Andrews. and Richmond,
2019)
Threats
Due to covid 19 there has been recession in entire world. So, there are many lay offs being done
by company. Thus, i may also be not able to get my desire job due to it.
I may face competition from those who are having experience of 5-8 years in their respective
field. Hence, i may not be able to compete with them.
The uses of technology at workplace may also lead to less use of workforce. Hence, there may be
job cuts in companies. (Balbag, Yenilmez,. and Turgut, 2017)
Self reflection
I found that by doing SWOT analysis i was able to identify my current skills and
capabilities. Besides that, i got to know about my weak areas and what improvement is required
to be done in it. so, on basis of that i will develop my career and personal goals. It will help me
in accomplishing my goals. Moreover, i analysed that self reflection is necessary as it gave me
insight about my strength and opportunities which i can grab in future. Furthermore, i think that
it is necessary for me to make improvement in my skills so that i can achieve my career goals.
Thus, by finding out my weakness i will be able to develop SMART goals. So, i found that my
weakness are communication, time management and decision making. they all are hampering on
my productivity and i am not able to perform well (Salter. and Rhodes, 2018). thus, it is
necessary for me to overcome weakness so that i attain my career goals and my personal as well
as professional growth is improved. In addition to that, i will develop a personal and professional
development plan as well. In this i will include strategies that how i can accomplish my desired
goals and develop skills. Hence, on basis of SWOT analysis i have developed SMART goals.
They are as follows :
Specific – To improve my weakness and develop skills such as communication, decision
making, time management, etc.

Achievable- to learn and gain at least 2-3 advance skills
Realistic- to be efficient in 1-2 skills and also professional in communication

HR manager. There are many decision-making that are involved with the human resource. and
one of the good example is during the recruitment process where I have to be decide whether the
employee is right for the job role or not. I have to identify the core skill in the candidate through
taking their interviews and other methods. on the basis of those interviews and performance of
the candidate I have to decide, If the candidate is able to work on the job role that they have
applied for. the recognising a good talent is not something that I can learn easily. I will require a
experience, strategy and intuition and this is something what I will need as a HR manager. the
another intense is when facing the dilemma of the downsizing (Achmad, Sriekaningsih. and
Tarakan 2017). I will play the most important role in this to get the message across effectively
even in the middle of the crisis. during the company take decisions it will be my role to take
apart within the decision-making of the company. This is not making also cover the policies
related to the employees, where I have to decide with the superiors that which policies will be
good for the employees and help to motivate them effectively. For example- Reward
management policies are implemented by the HR manager, it will be totally depend on me what
will be the rewards and how much will be the rewards.
Training and development skills – Another function of the HR manager within the company is
that providing a training and development to the employees to improve their skills and develop
them effectively so they can give their best within the task and help you to grow their business.
As a turn manager I will be responsible for giving the employees development opportunities or
in order to maximise the performance and increase the value. Organising decision’s on
management and leadership training, for example- I will provide more diverse skills to the
employees by the skilful training- Before providing the skilful training I have to be ensured that I
have all the skill that I want employees to be learned. I have to develop a proper training and
development skills so I can transfer the skills to the employees will get the training so they were
able to develop new skills which will help them to motivate and also help them to achieve higher
success within their careers. It will not only helpful for the employees but I will also able to
transform myself as a professional HR manager and I will able to develop my career as a HR
manager within the multinational company and if I will perform my duty well then there are
chances that I can be promoted on more higher positions and make my career within the HR
field.
