After properly assessing the unit assignments, the basic types of contractual
agreements became clear to me especially those which are connected with ICT,
building on agreements and managing a number of devices. The expertise of
every contractual arrangements be it complex non-governmental or non-
governmental became easy to comprehend for me from the learning
experience. I also learnt the different types of contractual arrangements that
takes place and their specific operations in a particular complex project like the
Chunnel project.

After properly evaluating the unit learning courses and assignments, I
conclusively understood several aspects of complex projects such as conflict
management, project negotiation and stakeholder engagement.
For complex projects which has a number of technology standards as well as
asset lifecycle, the importance of the combined agreement of ideas to reach an
agreement was fully understood by me. I also understood the need for
stakeholder engagement and how it is used to mitigate problems during the
project cycle. As the people are affected due to the decisions taken by the
organization, the stakeholder management is essential for maintaining the
complexity of the project.

I was particularly interested after learning that to address the inconsistent
objectives, maintaining and managing the relationships is essential in every
project cycle. I also came to know about the various methods by which the
parties perform their collaboration in a face to face manner. To reach a
satisfaction level, both parties have to compromise sometimes to reach a
decisions which was I found out to be very interesting. If the situation becomes
a win loss issue, I learned about the process of voiding, smoothing and forcing.
