INTRODUCTION
Academic Development refer to as practices which are designed to enhance the performance
in order to develop fullest potential. It helps to achieve grip with the skills and knowledge so as
to reach academic goals. Academic skills is vital to become potential for future career as
manager. These practices help to get grip with the skills required to become a successful
manager. Whereas the Professional development is of equal importance to advance in career
through learning, internships and also includes activities such as attending seminars, workshops
or networking. In simple words, it helps to get start the process of successful career through
effective planning and developing of professional skills (Borkovskaya and et. al., 2018).
Personal Development is also required to be considered in order to achieve the desired
career. It is an ongoing process in life. The personal development is an approach to self- assess
the skills, qualities and consider aims to set goals in order to maximise the potential. The skills
achieved through development are personal attributes, traits and abilities to attain success and
growth. Whereas, to become potential manager one must possess creative skills as it helps to
practically convince other people that an idea is worthy and set the ideas towards common goals.
Thus, the report examines reflection on individual’s skill and on teamwork along with the
Personal Creativity for long term professional career.
MAIN BODY
Reflection on Skills
As Personal development is lifespan process which involves the self- assessment of current
skills and knowledge and further enhancing oneself based on assessment leading to the
realization of successful career and maintaining higher quality of life. The task lead to the
development of personal traits, attributes and abilities towards the foundation of professional
career as manager. The activities related to personal development has led to develop skills,
knowledge, capabilities and even facilitated employability skills in order to realise and maximise
the potential. The personal development has increased the confidence in achieving the desired
goals (Dyre and et. al., 2017). Whereas, Professional Development helped to develop new skills
and even improved the existing ones to better meet the career objectives. Continuing developing
management skills through online training, attending workshops and consultation benefited in
several ways to attain knowledge in respect of future professional career. The task and material

allowed to keep up with the obligations related to professional. The tasks has improved the
professional credentials in order to lead higher quality of life. Further material helped with the
business skills as well as management skills. It has enhanced the employability skills which is
beneficial for career progression (Settembre Blundo and et. al., 2017). The task has embraced the
creativity ability which is beneficial in solving problems in innovative ways. It has helped in
solving complex issue through interesting ways in solving them. The overall task and material
helped me look things from a unique perspective.
The creativity theories studied is helpful in the future professional career, as it has given the
practical knowledge and ability to put strategies or tactics into practice. Further helped me in
achieving discipline in the process of career development so as to achieve desired goals in
effective manner. It has improved the quality of thinking along with benefiting both personally
and professionally. The theories are highly effective in the pace of technology and even helped in
finding key elements to get growth and success in the career as manager. The theories helped by
in learning, focusing and practicing skills towards the future professional career. Further the
management theories and practices learned from the task helped a lot in focusing,
communicating and evolving (Slack and Brandon-Jones, 2018).
Even the management theories has given me the adequate knowledge about the business
models and theories related to motivation and leadership styles. The practices involved helped
me to put management tactics into actual practice in order to get advance in management skills.
The styles and theories helped to adapt leadership as well as manager skills. To become an
effective manager one must be proficient with the management theories and practice in order to
maximise productivity. It even helped me in managing and developing my critical thinking
skills. Thus, the task/ theories/ materials has provided me with the collection of ideas, practices
and general rules in respect to the management process. These will be beneficial for leading
successful professional career as manager in future.
Reflection on Team- work
The team- work has provided with the effective learning experience and helped in
innovating ways to increase learning and performance in the future (Inostroza and et. al., 2017).
Out team members have worked effectively together. Further we have supported each other and
understood the strengths. One best aspect of working together is that we have developed a wide
range of network through our contacts and by effective channel of communication. Through

work collaboration we have learnt and accomplished task in stipulated time period. With the
positive aspect, there was also negative points such as diversification in work on basis of culture
and diversity has caused some differences. But it was well managed by the team members. They
focused equally on achieving the desired goal as well as reducing disputes. At the start, we as
team failed to look the complexity of the problem and took the approach which was too focused.
Later the approach was changed in order to prevent disputes among team members. It helped me
with my strengths and different set of skills in order to become successful manager in future.
The team was successful and no major changes are required in doing work but for future
each member can use their experience to enhance their quality of life (Butts and et. al., 2017).
The team- work had led competitive spirit among the members which caused an increase in the
productivity in the team members. However, we became comfortable with each other as team
members and even appreciated the outcome. The major learning for our team was not to rush
with the task and spend proper time in evaluating the tasks and issues. The group work helped us
to look multiple perspectives. If a task is done by personally, may be I would not come with
innovative ideas that I have received by team members while contributing towards the project.
The communication skills are improved by doing work collaboratively. Communication Skills is
required while working in team such as by speaking when you have to portray ideas, actively
listen to other members without interrupting and even compromises for the benefit of the team.
Thus, my interpersonal skills are improved by working collaboratively.
Personal Creativity
The term generally means an individual ability to portray innovative ideas or designs and
perspectives. An individual through effective creative skills can improve their creative abilities
and problem solving capabilities (Borges and et. al., 2017). In today’s full of competition era we
must have our own personal creativity skill which leads to new creations innovation and keeps us
creative. Moreover this skill makes a person to create innovative things and idea. Following are
some suggestions by which a person can plan to continue to have own personal creativity-
Participation or creation of programme for development of creativity skills: In this full
of competition era a person is required to develop and maintain creativity skills through
various ways. For such development, participation of individual in various creativity
skills development program is must as long as possible to keep mind creative and curious
about creativity. It doesn’t matter if any individual is unable to find any such program to

participate, he can create his own creativity skill development program which itself is a
creative skill and can invite others for that program that will surely help that individual
and the other participants as well.
Being aware while being in any discussion: While working or studying we always
attend group discussions or team discussions for some important causes and sometimes
for development of some personal and group skills. So such discussions plays a vital role
for developing and maintaining own personal creativity skills plan. A person individually
is required to attend and listen to every topic discussed by the group while
acknowledging each any every members opinion (Vourlekis, 2017). Such awareness in
such Group and team discussions leads to some innovative ideas and creative skills of an
individual.
Consideration of creative work done by experts in the company: Seniors and experts in
any firm or company plays vital role in decisions and creativity. Such experts always tries
their level best to provide various creative ideas to keep company going good and make
profit. Such creative ideas keep employees and board members creative in such a way
that encourages and motivates them to work more hard without getting down. So
admiring and acknowledging creative work of experts of the company provides and helps
generating many creativity skills.
Exploring different cultures: Exploring various cultures and attending various cultural
programs makes an individual more creative because many cultures have many creative
traditions and customs which shows many new explorative creative skills and witnessing
such traditions customs of different cultures is surely a mesmerising moment and which
makes a human brain keep working and thinking about how much creativity a particular
culture can hold and can teach you many creative skills to keep doing creative (Martz,
2017).
Being confident while expressing any creative idea: There many persons who find
themselves unable to express and present their creativity or creative idea and keeps those
with them only without letting the world know about it, that feeling of not expressing
such creativity makes a person more introvert and stops such person from thinking about
creativity or developing creativity skills and that person actually stops being creative just
because he finds himself unable to express his creativity. So basically every individual is

required to express their idea creatively so that the feedback or response makes you omit
mistakes and encourages you towards the development of creativity skills.
Observing working models of creativity: In this developing and growing era, everyone
comes with new and creative plans & ideas which makes competition tougher so in such
situation an individual can find an opportunity to observe and learn from the working
models of creativity of such people. Their mistakes, errors, omission of such mistakes,
problems they faces and solution they found all such factors can be learnt by observing
closely to the working models of creativity of others. Creative idea of others always
inspires and the story behind such ideas makes you more efficient in developing
creativity skills (Xudoyberdiyeva, 2019).
CONCLUSION
The above report concludes that personal and professional development, critical and
creativity theories, management psychology and psycho- metric tests has developed in evolving
skills and knowledge which are beneficial for achieving successful career goals. These are
helpful for developing skills for future profession as manager. The task, theories and material are
effective in making me learn with the management skills. Further theories helped in putting the
management tactics and strategies into practice. They not only developed individual skills but
also has improved the skills of my colleagues.
The report examined the reflection part on the development of personal skills and
knowledge which is helpful for successful profession career as a manager. The task and material
has led to build and improve creative skills in order to achieve the desired career effectively and
efficiently. The report also specified the reflection on team- work which provides the skills
which I have learned from other members by working collaboratively. Further the report
highlights the Personal Creativity in order to continue maintain and practice skills and
knowledge attained so as to enhance higher quality of life.
