 The change in technology has allowed people to use internet as a source for collecting data and
information and getting employed. The companies are also using social media to hire and recruit
candidate.
 Besides that, individuals are creating profile on social media and making connections with others
to find out job opportunities. Thus, use of resources has made it easy to get search for job roles. In
addition to it, there are many new employment websites emerged as well.
 With help of sources cost and time of both candidates and companies is saved. The overall
process has been eased.

Facebook
 A social networking platform where people are able to make friends all around the world.
It allows people to share their views, thoughts, etc. to others. In this platform there are
many companies who create own pages.
 They share, news, jobs updates, vacancies, etc. Besides that, people also post requirement
available in their company.
 Thus, it makes easy to find out vacancy or reference for any job. This source highly helps
in providing information about any job vacancy and getting people employed.

 Easy to use for individual as well as company.
 There are lot of official pages of company where job vacancies are posted.
 People are easily able to connect with professionals and others.
Disadvantage
 There are some fake job profile and companies’ pages been made.
 The individual confidential data and info can be easily hacked or leaked.
 Negative comments or feeds results in demotivating employees to apply for job.

Indeed
 It is an employment website and search engine in which number of companies post their
job vacancies. This allows job seekers to find out relevant job as per their requirement.
 Furthermore, there are several other sites as well included in Indeed. Also, types and
number of vacancies is specified in it. Companies directly post job opportunities on it.

Disadvantage
 There is no proper job listing in indeed.
 It is only a search engine where jobs are searched.

Monster
 This source is similar to Indeed in which a person easily look out for job vacancies
available.
 The job listing is included in it for different types of jobs. Companies directly post job
opportunities on it.

 Spam and frauds related to monster results in redundancy of site.

 This is most famous source of recent times. Here, the professional networks are developed
by people with one another.
 In App the complete bio data of person is included. The job seekers can connect with
professional working in company.
 Moreover, business post job update on App. This makes it easy to search and apply for job.

 It requires little set up to register on LinkedIn
 The individual can directly apply for job in company of his or her interest.
 There are a lot of job listed which makes it easy for individual to apply for his or her
respective field.
Disadvantage
 Companies not always prefer LinkedIn to hire employees.

 It is summarised that there are many types of sources for job seekers to get employed.
Each source is having different features and user interface.
 The sources are Facebook, LinkedIn, Indeed, etc. It allows people to search for specific job
in companies or field.
