An analysis of the stages of human development is subject to nuanced complexities. This
paper aims to study the various processes involved in the maturity of preschool children. The
concerned developmental process of preschool children occurs around certain specific areas
of skill set like ‘motor skill’, ‘cognitive skills’, ‘linguistic and literary developments’ and
‘socio-cultural and emotional development’ all of which are discussed at length, with the last
