Introduction
Greeting the audience:
Good morning/afternoon/evening to you all. I would like to welcome each and every
one of you and I would like to say that I would like to thank each and every one of you for
attending this presentation ceremony. I ensure that after this presentation, you would be
equally pleased to have joined this presentation ceremony. So let us continue with the
presentation that is focused mostly on the subject of a Project and its Quality Management in
general.
Topic:
Project Management is a vast area which has several aspects to look for during the
progression of a project. However, it is equally essential that the quality of the services or
products presented as the end product of the project has its quality maintained according to
the requirements of the client. But how is it possible to check if the project progression is
leading to a quality product or service according to the customer’s requirements? We would
see that in the presentation today on the topic of Quality Management Tool and Techniques
that ensures that quality is maintained right from the initial stages of a project to the project
closure phases till the production of the end products or services to the customer. Let us
proceed.
Clear Purpose of the Presentation:
It is extremely important to evaluate the product or service produced as an end
product at the end of a project and it is equally important that a quality control activity is
maintained right from the initial planning phases of the project. This is extremely important

only for ensuring that the end result of the project is meeting the quality specified for the
clients as well as the requirement specified for the project. Therefore, maintaining quality
throughout the project is extremely necessary.
Outline of Issues to be discussed
The issues that need to be discussed in this regards through the presentation would be
as follows:
The changing culture in the business or corporate sectors with time and the
realization of the quality management by departments.
The resistances that business organizations and the quality management
department often face due to the technological innovations.
The unwillingness of the upper management for providing additional time and
resources and the consequences faced for that
The complexity that the quality management phase often experiences in the
Supply Chain.
Unusual terms
However, I have often experienced that people tend to often get confused between the
topic of Quality Management and Quality Assurance. It needs to be cleared out about the
topic of Quality Control and Quality Assurance as they both are separate terms altogether.
Quality Control is all about evaluating the project to find out if the project meets the quality
standards. Where on the other hand, the term quality assurance means the ensuring of the
product to be produced in the right way.
