1.0 Introduction
In this modern society, it is quite evident that aging has really become a social issue and
the aged people are struggling a lot to lead a normal life. It has been found that the aged people
in this modern society have low social status and do not have any power to make decisions
regarding their lifestyle. We need to consider the fact that growing older leads to deterioration in
the health conditions and for that reason, the aged people have to face many social and health-
related issues.
This report is going to concentrate on the identification of eight possible problems that
result in bringing an impact on the health and safety of Mr. T. Then, the report focuses on the
possible nursing procedures that need to be carried out to overcome four identified issues.
Finally, the report ends with a conclusion.
2.0 Identification of eight possible problems which can impact the health and
safety of Mr. T
According to the given scenario, Mr. T is a 79-year-old widowed person and in this age,
he may face various kinds of health-related issues and other issues as well. The lists of eight
possible problems that can impact on the safety and health of Mr. T are as follows:
1. Purpose and engagement issues: Aging results in the creation of social isolation
of an aged person from society. Mr. T can also face the same issue with social
isolation if he faces difficulties in expressing his feelings and desire in front of
his daughters and son (Touhy et al., 2018).
