Safeguarding refers to the action in which is taken to promote welfare of children and
young people in which there is protection from any harm. This is the one in which there are
different type of protection program are there which can provide the children and young people
to get safe from any type of harm. This is the one which is able to provide the person right to live
in society and get free from abuse or neglect. This is the one which provide them safety and
protection from any type of harm in society. In this report, there is introduction about different
type of abuse along with their sign and symptom which the patient might be experiencing. There
is also discussion about the way of the petitioners and agencies need to be involved in providing
safe guarding. There is also discussion about the legislation, guidelines and policies which are
therefore providing safeguarding. There is some discussion about possibility of reviews which
can be reduced in social care setting.
